A trove of al-Qaeda documents seized by US commandos in the 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden is to be released to the public - with the exception of his pornography stash.

CIA director Mike Pompeo said the wide-ranging cache of files retrieved by Navy Seals from the late al-Qaeda chief's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, would be declassified within weeks.

Millions of electronic and paper documents seized contain family letters, papers on Islamic history, books, and notes about al-Qaeda's operations.

They also includes an extensive collection of modern pornography videos, according to US officials.

The 2011 raid in which they DNA tested a corpse which would have tested positive on Osama, his father, or any one of his sixty some-odd brothers?  A corpse shot in the face making a visual identification problematic to put it mildly?  A corpse they then tossed over the side of a US navy ship ensuring that no proof could ever be gathered to prove it was not Osama?  Osama, a man who had been on kidney dialysis since the mid 90's, a treatment which even in a modern hospital under top-notch care the patient can not survive more than eight to ten years?  A man who had not been heard from for a decade and who probably died in a cave from a bunker buster?  Oh good, glad to hear they are releasing some worthless papers.

edit to add one last smat-ass comment:

Why not release the porn?  That's probably the most interesting documents in the whole stash.

Even his own followers mourned him.  Publicly.  This is where conspiracy proponents lose credibility, IMO.  To simply deny a thing and refuse to ever believe it doesn't make it inaccurate.  What's the point?

His own followers being who?  Everything I listed is undeniable, but suit yourself.
