The True Story of Victoria and Abdul!

Like her relationship with Karim, her relationship with her servant John Brown has also caused speculation and controversy. That was also the subject of a film - "Mrs Brown" in 1997 - with Billy Connolly playing Brown.

"Mrs Brown" was a great film, I've seen it twice.

"Victoria and Abdul" (2017), I'd like to see that film too. For one thing I'm a big fan of Dame Judi Dench.

She was also very good as another of our great monarchs - Elizabeth I.
