Does anyone else have a little flurry of hairs falling off their head in Autumn/Fall, but not at any other time of the year?

When did "Does my bum look big in this?" become "Does my bum look big enough in this?"

Can you still get done for MeToo-style perving if you're staring at the ladies though the wrong end of some binoculars?

What is this "We Fear" thing that Lorraine Kelly advertises?

Dunno, mate. Surely it's bad luck to watch ITV past 8.30am?

That's what I want to know. Surely it's the perennial question of our times?

Why do so many people have such difficulty saying CCTV?

"CCT" is common, but I've also heard "CTTV" and "CTVC".

Is there an opposite to inexorable? You know we say, for instance, "the process of brexit is inexorable", meaning it can't be stopped and will bludgeon everyone in its path like a juggernaut, but is there a word exorable? Could we say that the process of brexit may, in fact, be exorable, if it could in fact be stopped?

You know when you've worn your underpants for a week, and you need to flip them.....

When you turn them inside-out, how do they also turn the wrong way 'round?

When an airyoplane moves along the ground, such as, for example, at an Airport, why do they call it taxying? Why taxi specifically? It's not like you can hold out your hand and hail a passing one, is it.

I think you mean taxiing.

The idea is to start the meter running ages before leaving for the destination.

When, when one is celebrating the Noo Year, is the correct time to jump and up and down and throw beer over each other and bellow "Happynooyear"? Is it when the first (prerecorded) Bong resounds out, or when the last one? When does the Noo year officially begin? On bong 1 or at the end of bong 12?

It has to be the start of the first Big Ben bong. Chiming must start on the hour, otherwise the chimes would have to start at a different time for each hour of the day.

Everybody waits for the last bong on NYE though.  (Probably the same idiots who celebrated the new millennium on 1st Jan 2000 ;))

Does it not begin as close to 12 midnight as local time-keeping allows? Should it matter if this time is chronologically inaccurate? Who cares? Is not everybody locally following local time?
