But that's usually not the only thing we pick up and we do it with the work truck. If we, as normal people, have a vehicle especially for this sort of task, because we have a need, why wouldn't a millionaire? I doubt he did much manual labor. And now we know he didn't even have a garden or lawn. 3 Top

Your claim that this guy has been framed because he doesn't fit the profile is wrong. Simple evidence next. A security guard was shot and injured outside Paddon's room. 200 shots where fired at the hallway door from inside. The security guard stayed in the hallway until the police arrived, he continued to help police clear guests from the hotel before a police officer insisted he get medical attention. Paddon was found dead in his room. Nobody left the room while an active shooter was in there. And nobody else was in there when the police went in. It was under watch. So how did he get framed? How could anyone else be responsible? Unless it was some government conspiracy which as I stated would be expensive, complicated and has almost no pay off. 2 Top

A few survivors were quoted as saying some people were walking through the crowd rambling about how the concert goers "were going to die soon". I would like some confirmation on that one - very sick if true. One man bringing that many firearms to do what he did seems odd, IMO - but if was expecting "backup" it makes perfect sense. Was he coaxed in to doing this and deliberately left to be a patsy by the organisers? Maybe the note on the table was for him, not from him. Hide contents "Go ahead and start without us" Not trying to cloud the waters further, but I think there are enough facts now that we can afford to speculate a little. Kismit's breakdown of his lifestyle and ego has been interesting. A reporter interviewed a girl who encountered the mystery "Latina", and she was credible. She said that there was a man with the woman. The Latina said that they were surrounded by individuals would kill them, and she and her companion were ejected. If the witness was right, it was a monumental coincidence at best. 2 Top
pallidin Posted October 6, 2017 #806 Share Posted October 6, 2017 A theory about the "numbers on the note"... Without seeing the numbers its hard to tell, but maybe they were something simple, like casino machine ID numbers he thought were "hot" After all, he was known to enjoy the machines, and often pressed waitstaff for their opinion as to "hot" machines. He also played the machines on at least the day he arrived at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino. -------------- Not important, just a speculation. In and of itself nothing, but ammonia nitrate is also in and of itself a high explosive. Any exposure to a flame or other ignition source, like tannerite exploding, is going to cause a massive explosion if ammonia nitrate. To give some idea of just how big, that bag has 25 kg of ammonia nitrate inside it which is about 304.88 moles of ammonia nitrate. The explosiveness of ammonia nitrate ( NH4-NO3) comes from it rapidly decomposing into nitrous oxide (N2O) and water vapor. To avoid some unnecessary chemistry that means that about 304.88 moles of nitrous oxide will be produced, which at stp will want to be at about 7.36 cubic meters or to put it in units most understand better 7,360 liters. In an extremely short amount of time, micro seconds or smaller, that little 0.0145 cubic meters bag, used density to estimate it's size, is going to expand about 50,000% its original size and it's going to do that with incredible force and heat. Basically if that little bag goes off, it's leaving a big crater. 6 Top

Gambling as a way to live is not conducive to being a happy person. But when he started taking valium while continuing to drink heavily, his mind finally distorted to a point of no return, because of all of his personal factors taken together, and succumbed to the worst in human experience and let loose hell as he took the last steps of a drug induced coward going off the cliff. I find it interesting that the issue of his use of a psyche drug is not being discussed. In my opinion, the proliferation of these dangerous doctor prescribed drugs is at the root of many terrible things going on in our society today. Every poor thing has a common solution these days. Take a pill. That's a common factor in many heinous crimes and mass shootings. There weren't many school shootings before those drugs really hit the market. That's likely no coincidence. Yet, the issue is treated like a third rail by all sides. Look at politicians and pundits. The Left always blame guns. The Right often blame culture. I think that both sides miss the mark. 2 Top

To give another example that might be even better, 25 kg of ammonia nitrate going off is going to be comparable to 25 kg of C4 going off approximately or 25 kg of TNT. The US military 155mm artillery shell has 5.74 kg of TNT in it. 2 Top

They have video of him wheeling 13 suitcases of guns and ammo to his room over 3 days. I agree the mystery to all this is staggering but it’s looking like he did it and that’s why when they say he had explosive materials in his vehicle I don’t think he just happened to leave some gardening materials in the trunk. That begs the question. How big was his vehicle? That's a lot of stuff for one car or truck. I'm referring to regular vehicles. How did he transport all of that? It seems like it would take more than one trip and one vehicle. It seems like it would draw attention from *some*body too. The logistics don't work. 4 Top

Just look at alcohol for one example. One person gets buzzed from one beer while it takes a distillery to make a second person drunk. All brains are different. All drugs are different. Age and health play roles too, especially when brains are still developing. Some shooters were on cocktails of "hard" psychoactive drugs too. 4 Top

Police say Stephen hauled the weapons to his room in 10 suitcases, but chances are “he gave a kid $100 and [the kid] brought them up on a golden trolley,” Eric said. “Steve didn’t carry stuff.” Iraq War veteran Chris Bethel, who was staying in a room two floors above Paddock, helped cops locate the killer when he recognized the familiar sound of gunfire coming from inside the building and saw police searching outside. “I could just see everybody running.. and I kept looking at the windows to see if I could see any kind of muzzle flash, to see if I could see where the shooter was,” the trained former soldier said. Bethel said he immediately called 911. The entire time, he said, he could hear exactly what the shooter was doing. “Changing weapons, changing calibers,” he told CBS. “You can hear the difference in the gunshots of the different rifles that he is shooting.” http://nypost.com/2017/10/03/inside-the-hotel-room-of-the-las-vegas-shooter/ 4 Top

It dropped off the radar screen.
