Las Vegas Strip Shooting

Ok so this jumps fully into the deep end of conspiracy theory however its out there so worth a share:

LAS VEGAS SHOOTING SURVIVOR KYMBERLEY SUCHOMEL, WHO CLAIMED MULTIPLE SHOOTERS INVOLVED, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY

Quote

Just over a week after living through the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history in Las Vegas on October 1, shooting survivor and witness Kymberley Suchomel passed away at the age of 28. Suchomel was uninjured in the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, and after the terrifying event she used her Facebook presence to contradict the official story of a lone gunman. According to Kymberley Suchomel’s posts, there were multiple shooters involved in the horrific mass shooting that left 58 people dead and 546 injured. In fact, Suchomel, who was the co-founder of the High Desert Phoenix Foundation (a charity that financially assists victims of tragedies), claimed that she and those in her party were “chased” by more than one active shooter.

Unfortunately, unless you have a couple dozen other concert goers saying the same thing (how hard would that be if it were true?!!!) there is nothing to that claim.

He didn't "just vanish"

He suddenly left before the interview, presumably due to pain from his gunshot wound, and was taken to a medical clinic by a couple union reps.

Where he went from there is unknown, but presumably he went home, which is being guarded by a private security firm.

It would seem appropriate to hear from him, of course.

One the day after the event, I heard a recording made from within the crowd. (probably a mobile phone of some sort ? ).

You could clearly hear two guns. One more in the distance, with a lower-frequency sound. And one much closer, with a higher-pitched "zingy" sound.

Yes, the "zingy" sound was the sound of bullets richocheting off the ground. But many people said "OOoooooh... two guns.... "

IDK there are several concertgoers saying there were multiple shooters. Not that im married to that theory, just reporting the facts sir.

Las Vegas Shooting Witnesses Report Multiple Gunmen Dressed as Security Guards

Quote

One key witness is a man named Brian Hodge from Australia who was staying in the room right next door to the alleged shooter.

Hodge was closer to the origins of the assault than any other person on that day and says that the entire floor he was staying on was a “crime scene” with “multiple shooters” firing weapons out of the windows.

And I will guarantee you that both the police and the FBI knows EXACTLY where he's at.

You know how I know this? Neither agency has said he is missing, just that he did not attend the interview.

Las Vegas Shooting Witnesses Report Multiple Gunmen Dressed as Security Guards

Hmm... not convinced by some of these "witnesses".

".....

Another Australian witness says she and her husband were sat in the bar of the Luxor Hotel when they saw a heavily armed man dressed as security guard ran through the hotel being chased by the hotel’s real security team.

Speaking to Australian news outlet Courier Mail, Wendy Miller from Cooroy, on the Sunshine Coast, described the moment she was caught up on the attack when the “man of interest” ran past her.

....."

Umm... "dressed as a security guard..." ? How about... he WAS a security guard ? So she saw a security guard run past, followed by some more security guards ?

Ditto with the Brian Hodgson character. He stated that he saw people being shot in the corridor.. multiple gunmen.. but also that he was hiding in bushes outside of the hotel.

Sorry.. but... all rather confusing ?

An online website that describes itself as "free independent news" is pushing a false story that a Las Vegas shooting victim saw multiple gunmen dressed as security guards at Mandalay Bay.

In fact, Hodge gave an interview to the Sydney Morning Herald in which he more fully describes what he saw.

Hodge told that newspaper that he never made it to his room on the 32nd floor and after hearing the bullets he first went to a casino kitchen before hiding in a bush outside.

This is what Brian Hodge himself had to say....

Brian Hodge Hi Esther, this story is not entirely true. I did not see multiple shooters. I am not sure where they got this information from, I did not talk to these guys.

That's OK, we are all here to present information as it develops, speculate a tad, and to weed-out the bulls*** from certain media venues.

Given the propensity of the American Health System to giving victims huge bills, maybe they thought they’d save themselves some money and do some home surgery.

The Courier Mail is my local rag and I’m improving it when I use it to clean up after my dog.

She died at the extremely elderly age of 28. Yeah, this is weird. There likely is more to the story than we've been led to believe by the authorities and the experts. Those of us, who are leaning that way, get more pushes by the day. The alleged lone gunman has no discernible motives, and he doesn't have a record or reputation of extreme violence. The timeline changes twice. The guard, one of the key witnesses who contradicts the official narrative, disappears at the time that he will be interviewed on a national show. Even ISIS claims to be involved.

My red flags first were raised when a witness said that a strange woman told concert-goers that they all would die that night. The disruptive Latina (per the witness' interview) said that they were surrounded by murderers. She and a man, who accompanied her, were ejected. Some folks scoffed at those of us who thought that was beyond bizarre. "It's just a common coincidence, crazy person." The shorted stocks, before 9/11, were too in their worlds, and that story also dropped off the radar screen. I don't have a firm or fixed opinion on this yet. I can't say that any conspiracy theory is true, but I won't listen to people who say "move along, folks; there's nothing to see here".

“Kymberley had epilepsy and she’s always been prone to seizures — she told her friend that she recently had three focal seizures,” Norton told the Daily Press. “I believe the stress from the shooting took her life.”

I don't ride conspiracy trains either but something isn't right. I would guess this woman died from the seizures but it does seem odd given the timeline of events. Maybe the guard is under protective custody or maybe he just left altogether.

*Something* is off, but we don't really know what it is. It could be relatively major or relatively minor. Here's another thing. They sold motel stocks before this happened. I forgot to mention it in my post to Farmer. That, by itself, might not be a cause for conspiracy theories. It's just that there are five or more other strange things. It's wise to have healthy skepticism.

I wonder about if the "second shooter" was instead echos? Given the speed of sound, and the distance to the buildings across from Mandelay Bay... if the time difference between "shots" would match. Maybe an echo off the Tropicana? Or, even the MGM?

The Las Vegas Strip is lined with tall buildings, so echos shouldn't be ruled out, I think.

Echo.jpg

Edit: Speed of sound is 1125 feet per second and it is 1.4 miles from Mandalay Bay to MGM Grand. So, a gunshot would take like 13 seconds to get over to MGM and back... Be about half that to get an echo off the Tropicana, but that building isn't facing in a way I'd think to give a good echo back toward Mandalay Bay.

Probably not as good an theory as I originally thought.

A very pertinent point DieChecker. Indeed, you would get echos from the Mandalay Bay building itself. (from the opposite angled section).

Selling stock is, of course, not unusual. Happens all the time for any number of personal reasons.

What is the source of your comment (bolded) ?

Ok, did Hollywood have something to do with this? I just watched 3 movies all made in the last five years each depicting an accountant who becomes an assassin. Weird?

Jim Murren sold them. He's the MGM CEO.
