How do you make some people listen?

Email I've just sent to a company after my fourth attempt to unsubscribe from their email list.

Hi folks

I don't know whether anyone monitors this email address, but in the vague hope that someone might pay attention, I'd just like to point out that I received the email below despite having previously unsubscribed from this service at least three times. As you might guess, the second and third attempts at unsubscribing were made after receiving emails subsequent to previous attempts to unsubscribe. None of those attempts to unsubscribe involved any sort of "Yeah, not really" or "Just kidding!" option, just a plain and simple "Unsubscribe" option.

If following your own instructions for unsubscribing doesn't actually result in being unsubscribed from this service, then could someone please contact me to explain (a) the REAL process of how to unsubscribe and (b) why you bother to provide instructions on how to unsubscribe which don't work. Seriously, am I the unwitting subject of some PhD candidate's experiment into frustration?
