School Shooting In California

Witnesses are saying they heard 90-100 shots fired. One witness according to this account says his truck was stolen and his roommate killed by the shooter. It is believed the shooter was killed by police. Breaking News, so reports are sketchy.

This update says there are multiple crime scenes and at least 7 were taken to hospital. Can't believe major news stations are not reporting this. It's all politics on them. Makes a sad statement about shootings in the US if you ask me.

Right now, my thoughts are with the families that are involved in this. Can't imagine sending your little kids to school and having this happen. Again. Our society is real sick. Started out as some sort of a domestic dispute and carried over to the school.

This update says 5 dead including shooter. Details are slow coming in.

Reports are coming in that there's been a shooting in an elementary school in No. California. They are saying three are deceased.

My thoughts and well wishes are with the victims of this senseless act of violence. Gun Control is a huge success isn't it? To be honest the issue lies with our society as a whole and the mentality of these individuals.

FOX at least has it on it's website. CNN is all politics. According to the FOX link, they still have four deceased and two of them are children.

“The crazy thing is that the neighbor has been shooting a lot of bullets lately, hundreds of rounds, large magazines,” Flint said. “This guy has been crazy, and he’s been threatening us and everything. I just feel like there maybe should have been more effort put into stopping things like this.”

once again, he was known to be a problem

Again and again and again. And again, nothing will happen. Nothing, but words. Its disgusting.

Looks like the whole story is out now. It wasn't just a school shooting as first reported. Some guy killed a female neighbor, stole a truck and went on a shooting rampage through the whole town with a semi-automatic rifle and two handguns. He was at the school for about 25 minutes but did not gain entry. There were seven different scenes. Four plus the shooter are dead, 10 were taken to hospital.

And here's our suspect. Assaulted an elderly person a year ago.

http://www.trevorloudon.com/2017/11/kevin-janson-neal-named-as-suspect-in-rancho-tehama-school-shooting/

This link says he was awaiting trial for assaulting two women and stabbing one. Doesn't give the woman's age. Probably the elderly person mentioned above. It was January, 2017.

What I don't understand, is since this person was already a known felon, and was being prosecuted for savagely attacking and shooting at a neighbour earlier in the year. Then why would he be allowed to continue to possess firearms, after he got out on bail ?

Why on earth would they even set bail for a crazy person like this ?

because he was not convicted yet. CA as it is has strictest gun laws in the country.  they have prbly every gun restriction possible on the books. but we do not know if he bought them legally at all.

I wasn't exactly talking about California's gun laws, and he certainly wont be convicted now, will he ?

I still don't get why this guy was released on bail, after he had earlier in the year fired a shot at two women, stabbed one of them, then took off after stealing one of their phones. In my book that alone says that this guy was dangerous and a menace to society.

what else do you expect from CA, a liberal Sodom and Gomorrah of today. they care more about criminals than victims

Waiting for the obligatory "what we have is a mental health crisis in this country, not a gun crisis"

Oh wait a second, I just did it ;)
