A 22-year-old Minnesota woman has become the first woman with Down syndrome to compete in the state’s Miss USA pageant.

Good! She's gorgeous. And here I am, not even able to overcome my anxiety to go to the store most days.

Though pageant's, in my opinion, are antiquated, unnecessary and a little bit creepy, I applaud her.
