Prehistoric women had insanely strong arms

Well it seemed to work, considering the human population just keeps growing.

Did the wimmen wear it round their necks or hanged it at the entrance of their caves?

They had fertility charms.....then came the chastity belt, then contraception....and the population still keeps growing. In hindsight they did not really need a fertility charm, but they did not know how much the human race will be capable of breeding in the future.

Great is Artemis of the Ephesians! Who knows? Women in all cultures have appealed to such deities from Diana to the Virgin Mary to succor them in childbirth and magnify their fertility.
