Being pro guns has nothing to do with Roy being a dirty old pervert ;)

That may have been the greater of his faults, which he had many.

Does anyone know the vote turn out yet?

Actually they were expecting 20 to 25%.

I hope it was better.

It's really close. They will still have to verify some votes.

The way Judge Moore was in the saddle, I think his horse would prefer Doug Jones takes his seat.

Glad to hear you say that I thought it was just my ignorance - having never sat on a horse. But to be fair, it looked like he never had either.

I agree! I wanted to smack him when I saw how he handled her. He should never have brought her into such a volatile situation.

Maybe the way he handled his horse is significant in how it showed his true colors in handling the women in his life.

It spoke volumes.

Hell no. He's the poster boy for 2018 now.

In two years Jones will be up for reelection, since he's taking over Session's 6 year term.

If he doesn't become a Trump Democrat, it's likely the people of Alabama will send him out to pasture.

To be fair, I had to retrain my husband, when we got together, on how to get my dogs to cooperate with him. He had a heavy hand and I put my foot down. He was used to a certain way of doing things, but he was never what he considered abusive. I knew a better way...not the old-fashioned tactic of rubbing their nose in it.

Until he learned my methods, he was never allowed to reprimand my dogs. He was an old dog, but he learned new tricks. ;)

I do love the equine allusions!

It's just simply amazing that Moore should have won by thirty points with a presidential endorsement, and didn't.

It's not what it seems.

The president was rooting for him. He was in the saddle. Moore was in the race. But what they never got around to figuring out was, due to how Moore was handling her, his horse wasn't.

Horse sense? Was that what they lacked?

I totally agree! This wasn't a police horse trained to work a crowd.

You shouldn't denegrate the dignity of being a horse, instead of a cowboy.

Horse sense is simply, "common sense".

A phrase I use along with 'dog logic'.

That wasn't the problem. Ever notice how a dog can look like its master?
