I'll start with this little quickie ... I get the felling that this guy wasn't very thrilled about Trump, he even admits that only one of his predictions came true!

Anyone want to add anythingt?

This year has been insane but interesting politics~wise -- how time flies

can't believe it's nearly a whole year since we were all going at it hammer and tongs about the inauguration crowd size -
and it hasn't let up for a day since -

It would have been soooooo boring if Trump hadn't won - I shudder to think how it could have been if the election had
gone the other way ---

From the very beginning, I saw something in Trump that could change the world for the best, but I wasn’t sure of what it was.  Still not.  I liked most of the Republican candidates, probably except for Kasich and Graham.  And I was liking Jeb less all the time.  The other Bushes served this nation well, but they were still Establishment.  A term that became well defined in the last two years.  Klavan nailed it when he said that it’s not that Trump is moral but he’s brought morality to government.  If Trump is remembered for only one thing, it will be this.  It’s nowhere near being completed.  I never watched “The Apprentice” except for maybe one or two episodes.  With very few exceptions, I’m not much into reality tv.  But, that was enough for me to see Trump’s character and I have an empathy of understanding character (for a lack of a better term).  Maybe that’s why I don’t watch reality tv is because there are too many phonies??  But in regards to Klavan’s conundrum, Trump’s morality is that of a loudmouth New York business man.  But shouldn’t we all be reminded “He who is without sin cast the first stone…”  Despite his weakness, what he brings is honesty.  With honesty, morals can take a momentary back seat.  I’m not talking about the “I cannot tell a lie” kind of honesty but a righteous kind embedded in a foundation of justice.

Trump has revealed the corruption and lack of moral character in government.  The MSM (including Hollywood and Academia) and Progressives are imploding.  BLM and Antifa have all but disappeared.  The corruption of the DeepState has been exposed.  And the GOP Establishment and never-Trumpers are beginning to believe.  This is major.  The IRS and FBI are no longer being used against political enemies and other Americans.  Those involved in the real corruption will be going to jail and there will be a lot of them.  The MSM will wake up and renew their 4th Estate obligations.  I see a lot of house cleaning there.  Business killing regulations are on their way out.  This is the area that Americans need much help and education in (including American history and the Constitution).  Too many still think government is the answer.  We need to teach the American people about the Invisible Hand and what it means.  Every American needs to learn how to emulate the better parts of Trump’s business savvy.  There is no reason why everyone can’t be an entrepreneur and an educated Consumer.  Every American, no matter their attributes needs to step up.  If we do this, then we’ll also bring morality into the Business world.  Government then will be free to provide and maintain guidelines (general welfare), justice, tranquility, and the blessings of liberty.  That’s four of the five charges.  But the fifth won’t be ignored.

I can’t wait for next year.  Trump has a vision and he is carrying it out.  How much longer will the naysayers be able robe themselves in negativity and remain human?  Is the future going to be perfect?  NO!  There will be corrections and relapses but this nation is going in the right direction.  With the year coming to a close, I see great promise and future as American Exceptionalism returns and we can all stand side-by-side and proudly say “We Built That!”  This is the worse nightmare of Socialism and the hopes that we can perform an exorcism to remove it from our fiber will be a high point in history.  They’ll be talking about this as a turning point in the events of world history (along with Brexit and the yet future events coming).  You might notice that I am just a bit optimistic about our future.  Say what you will about Trump.  Like him or not.  What he is, is a facilitator and the light of this country will shine like it has never shone before.  Don’t misunderstand me.  Trump is not the end-all-be-all.  He is merely the spark to ignite us all.  American is about *ALL* Americans, not just one or a few leaders or a group.

There is one VERY good thing that Trump and Obama both can claim;

They saved us from a Dual Monarchy , known as the Bush/Clinton dynasty.

IMHO, we will only be able to appreciate the saving grace that this represents with the passing of time.

Quote

Trump has revealed the corruption and lack of moral character in government.

And the media too, altho the line between the two has become very murky.

I'm relieved that this wasn't about pop culture. We're inundated with "year in review" stories between Christmas and New Year's Day each year. It's overkill. It scares me that I don't recognize some names on the lists. I'm clueless about most Top Forty acts and songs now. I can say the same for much of current entertainment. I wouldn't know some celebrities if I bumped into them. Maybe that's a good thing.

I agree with the video. It has been a gangbuster year for Conservatives. We got a Judge onto the Supreme Court, got out of a bunch of stupid international agreements that were unenforceable and yet we were expected to lead by example and bleed ourselves, while everyone else laughed. This tax bill which also will gut Obamacare... And numerous other things.

And the media and liberals are still focused on a handful of tweets and liars and possibly the Russians influenced a handful of people.

The funniest thing I saw today... That there is a twitter storm over a picture of Ivanka on a boat with another boat in the background with a Confederate Flag on it. There are just so many people who are 24/7/365 looking for things to be offended about. Grow up people, and get involved in this flourishing economy and stop sulking like children.
