Project Veritas undercover operation

What Project Veritas does is criminal. They're funded by organizations like Breitbart, who have been funded by the Mercers. 

They go into a place under false pretenses, which is sometimes criminal to do, and then they take recordings which they shuffle around to deliberately make it appear that people are saying things they aren't.

We know this about Project Veritas. They've had to pay out settlements, but they don't care, because they make more money from people with big pockets, like the Mercers. 

The fact that anyone believes anything they ever put out still amazes me.

thanks -  - I didn't realise that Project Veritas had done such a lot of work exposing this and that - 

of course they are going to get kick back - hard kickback -  that comes with the territory -

when someone is filmed and recorded saying stuff that stands alone it can't be dismissed or denied -
the Project Veritas detractors can just try and cast doubt so this is what they do -

I'd also really like to point out to some of these 'media champions of righteousness' that any nation regardless of geographic location, race, ethnicity can (given the right circumstances) degenerate into becoming a horror show. I actually opened a thread on this very subject (about how Venezuela went from wealth to it's current horrific state).

evidently you are not well aware and in this thread seem hell bent on supporting what Twitter are up to -

Also, check out the differences in what comes up when you use various search engines. Recently I did a comparison of Google and Bing...the results were very enlightening (to say the least). IMO there is indeed a push by various internet media sources to control what people can have access to...and this is a frightening trend.

Shame? They have the best undercover journalism in the world. You just don't like what they uncover.

Undercover journalism use to be celebrated in this country. The only reason it isn't now, is cause its exposing the establishment.

I'm for all types of journalism, even the wacky far right and far left. As long as there is basic honesty about what's an opinion and what's a fact then I'm for all of it. I'm also very much for dragging the behavior of everyone out into the open where everyone can see it.

I kind of view this as a net neutrality thing.  If Youtube and twitter want to throttle certain things, aren't they allowed to now?  Can't Project Veritas use the free market and find another platform for their business?

There is a search engine called Duckduckgo that doesn't do that, nor do they keep a record of what you are searching, like the others do.

Yeah, I've heard of duck duck go. But, I'm still not convinced that somebody somewhere can't find out what places we frequent online and what type of content we choose to read. Honestly, at this point I really don't care all that much. I do not engage in any illegal/immoral activity and if being conservative ever does become a crime then I guess they can just lock my old butt up (for all the good it will do them).

It was still about Twitter. I couldn’t post it here though cause it had some less then appropriate language. 

Yesterdays episode exposed how they have hired a incredible amount of people to read through peoples private messages, and to look at their private often sexual photos. Then sell all the info to advertisers.  And God knows who else really.

And people wonder why I don't use Facebook and Twitter. I even do most of my phone calls on my landline vs my cell phone. My emails are always innocuous and contain nothing I want to be kept private. People need to wake up and guard their privacy much, much better.

Me neither. I haven't been on social media for a couple years now. It seems my generation is the last that has any clue about the importance of privacy. These kids cant even conceive why its important. Its really sad.

I read somewhere that part of the Twitter data collection  includes anyone viewing a tweet even if they aren't a member -

but I suppose this would be part and parcel of  Dragnet Spying and not specific to Twitter ....

As I said before I'm not a member of Twitter but in terms of them selling advertising data that's no great loss to them..
