Project Veritas undercover operation

Recommended Posts

What Project Veritas does is criminal. They're funded by organizations like Breitbart, who have been funded by the Mercers.

They go into a place under false pretenses, which is sometimes criminal to do, and then they take recordings which they shuffle around to deliberately make it appear that people are saying things they aren't.

We know this about Project Veritas. They've had to pay out settlements, but they don't care, because they make more money from people with big pockets, like the Mercers.

The fact that anyone believes anything they ever put out still amazes me.

thanks - :) - I didn't realise that Project Veritas had done such a lot of work exposing this and that -

of course they are going to get kick back - hard kickback -  that comes with the territory -

when someone is filmed and recorded saying stuff that stands alone it can't be dismissed or denied -
the Project Veritas detractors can just try and cast doubt so this is what they do -

your link has provided a lot of research points -

one amusing short extract from the Wiki Link - (of course you have to watch Wikipedia because anything can be
changed or edited to suit whoever is doing the editing)

US–Mexico border-crossing (2014)

In August 2014, O'Keefe dressed up as Osama bin Laden and crossed the US–Mexico border in Texas in both directions to "show that our elected officials were lying to the American people" about border security. The incident was cited by U.S. Senator John McCain in Congressional hearings.

I think it's very bad for the media to silence those they simply disapprove of. If I'm not mistaken this is one of the hallmarks of fascism. There has even been a lawsuit filed against YouTube due to this type of thing: https://www.wsj.com/articles/prageru-sues-youtube-in-free-speech-case-1508811856

I'd also really like to point out to some of these 'media champions of righteousness' that any nation regardless of geographic location, race, ethnicity can (given the right circumstances) degenerate into becoming a horror show. I actually opened a thread on this very subject (about how Venezuela went from wealth to it's current horrific state).

bolded.... absolutely ... and deliberate destablilization of the US and UK isn't out of the question -

Order Out of Chaos ....?

Divide and Rule...?

''''They'''' have upped the ante since Brexit and Trump .... :wacko:

I'm well aware that you know exactly what Project Veritas is.

Shame on you for continuing to spread that disinfo along with whatever crazy Alex Jones crap you continue to post.

evidently you are not well aware and in this thread seem hell bent on supporting what Twitter are up to -

for example

Twitter is in the process of automating censorship and banning, says Twitter Software Engineer Steven Pierre on December 8

th of 2017:

“Every single conversation is going to be rated by a machine and the machine is going to say whether or not it’s a positive thing or a negative thing. And whether it’s positive or negative doesn’t (inaudible), it’s more like if somebody’s being aggressive or not. Right? Somebody’s just cursing at somebody, whatever, whatever. They may have point, but it will just vanish… It’s not going to ban the mindset, it’s going to ban, like, a way of talking.”

This type of thing is already taking place: https://www.wsj.com/articles/prageru-sues-youtube-in-free-speech-case-1508811856

Also, check out the differences in what comes up when you use various search engines. Recently I did a comparison of Google and Bing...the results were very enlightening (to say the least). IMO there is indeed a push by various internet media sources to control what people can have access to...and this is a frightening trend.

Shame? They have the best undercover journalism in the world. You just don't like what they uncover.

Undercover journalism use to be celebrated in this country. The only reason it isn't now, is cause its exposing the establishment.

Another PV video on twitter should be out any second. They usually get better after the first couple. Can't wait.

I'm for all types of journalism, even the wacky far right and far left. As long as there is basic honesty about what's an opinion and what's a fact then I'm for all of it. I'm also very much for dragging the behavior of everyone out into the open where everyone can see it.

What subject are they covering? I mean, is it to be the Mueller investigation, immigration debacle or what?

I kind of view this as a net neutrality thing.  If Youtube and twitter want to throttle certain things, aren't they allowed to now?  Can't Project Veritas use the free market and find another platform for their business?

There is a search engine called Duckduckgo that doesn't do that, nor do they keep a record of what you are searching, like the others do.

Yeah, I've heard of duck duck go. But, I'm still not convinced that somebody somewhere can't find out what places we frequent online and what type of content we choose to read. Honestly, at this point I really don't care all that much. I do not engage in any illegal/immoral activity and if being conservative ever does become a crime then I guess they can just lock my old butt up (for all the good it will do them).

It was still about Twitter. I couldn’t post it here though cause it had some less then appropriate language.

Yesterdays episode exposed how they have hired a incredible amount of people to read through peoples private messages, and to look at their private often sexual photos. Then sell all the info to advertisers.  And God knows who else really.

And people wonder why I don't use Facebook and Twitter. I even do most of my phone calls on my landline vs my cell phone. My emails are always innocuous and contain nothing I want to be kept private. People need to wake up and guard their privacy much, much better.

Me neither. I haven't been on social media for a couple years now. It seems my generation is the last that has any clue about the importance of privacy. These kids cant even conceive why its important. Its really sad.

Twitter was never really my thing but I used it occasionally... until this.  I closed it yesterday.

Sigh. Explaining a joke always kills it, but the idea here is that preacherman is an old person, stereotypically ignorant of, and therefore hostile to, all those new-fangled devices and habits of today's youths, and willing to attribute every alleged vice to those young people, without a particularly strong logical reason to do so, like the villain in a Scooby-Doo episode.

You know, exactly the same pointless grudge old people have always had towards younger people, at least from (allegedly) Akkadian times:

"Our earth is degenerate in these latter days ; there are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end; bribery and corruption are common ; children no longer obey their parents ; every man wants to write a book, and the end of the world is evidently approaching."

“All your sex messages and your, like, d*** pics are on my server now… All your illegitimate wives and, like, all the girls you’ve been ******* around with, they’re on my server now,” Singh boasted.

“I’m going to send it to your wife, she’s going to use it in your divorce,” he added, jokingly.

I read somewhere that part of the Twitter data collection  includes anyone viewing a tweet even if they aren't a member -

but I suppose this would be part and parcel of  Dragnet Spying and not specific to Twitter ....

Singh emphasized a terrible truth about all of the vast amounts of personal data that Twitter hoovers up on a daily basis: it never goes away. “Like, they are always on there,” Singh claims.

And this fits in with Twitter’s particular business model, which collects user information and sells it to businesses, advertisers, and other interested parties, it appears.

“Even after you send [the information], people are analyzing them, to see what you’re interested in, to see what you’re talking about, and they sell that data.” When asked to clarify what sort of information Twitter makes available, Singh said, “everything.”

Even direct messages are free game. As O’Keefe explained, “this is not your run-of-the-mill big data. This is personal and specific, and that has a high premium for advertisers.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As I said before I'm not a member of Twitter but in terms of them selling advertising data that's no great loss to them..
I can't think of a time when I EVER bought something because it was advertised on the internet -
underlined...... '''other interested parties'''....... :passifier:........ the political surveillance and storage must be bulging at the seams -
although of course there aren't any seams... probably just a spaghetti of nanotubes or something -- at a secret location :ph34r:
dunno
