Ouija Boards?

Priss333

Recommended Posts

My boyfriend was murdered last year, and Ive looked for signs from him since his passing. Weird things have started happening at my house. Just opening and closing doors, lights flickering, hearing foot steps in my kitchen, my music speaker was tossed across my room. Ive had people over & they've witnessed the weird things happening such as the lights and stuff. I just really want to talk to him. I want to know who did this is, as his case is still open. Ive done some research, and I see alot of people saying spirits can manipulate you through these boards. I guess my question is, one- could I do this by myself? What precautions would you suggest I take? Whats the worse that could happen? Ive bought the board already and still havent touched it, because I want to do this the right way. Please tips and recommendations. Dont be mean please - im just a heartbroken girl who is missing her other half dearly. Im lookin for answers & i believe.

Thanks in advanced!

Welcome to UM Priss 333.  I'm very sorry for the tragedy that has come into your life.  I've been around here for awhile and I've seen multiple Ouija board discussions.  The opinions range from people who believe they can be used to contact the "other side" to those like me who believe that they are to be avoided strictly because they can introduce evil into your life.  Your motivations won't matter, I'm afraid.  FTR, I don't believe in ghosts or in communicating with the dead.  In fact, it is forbidden to a Christian.  These boards are a kind of paradox in that those who use them refuse to pour their heart out to the Creator and wait for an answer but at the same time ARE willing to look for a quick answer from an occultic source

The ouija works through your subconscious and ideomotor effect. You'll be "communicating" with yourself. I am sorry for your loss.

I do believe that can happen but it might not be who you are hoping it is on the other side.

You could but there is certainly a better chance of contact with multiple people.

A negative entity exploiting your vulnerability and messing with your life and mind.

If your boyfriend is indeed eager to communicate, you might want to contact a good psychic medium and have a session. This is safer than the Ouija too.

Best wishes, and you may also consider acceptance and moving on using known grief recovery strategies that are out there.

I got some correct info out of a P-SB7, but Ouija never worked for me.

That said, there was also a lot of disinfo and a lot of crazy woo fallout.

Ultimately, I had to oust all the phenomena with the LBRP and Middle Pillar.

If you go some divination route, just take what you get with a grain of salt. Don't assume you're talking to your dead boyfriend.

You're probably...I would even say you are most likely...not.

I am very sorry for your tragedy.

However I advise you against putting hope in Ouija boards, they are a toy created by a toy company (Hasbro) that cannot actually contact spirits of any kind. They are not dangerous, but they are also not helpful for any serious venture to contact a departed soul.

Whatever the state of dead souls may be,I, personally, don't believe there's outside magic or device that can help you "speak" to them and there's a lot of people who want to make money from the suffering and grief of people. The only reliable way to keep a departed loved one with you is to remember them, to cherish the times and joys you shared and to talk to others who also knew and loved them.
It's hard and it hurts, but I reckon it has its reasons and proper order.

There are probably good reasons for that forbidden bit. I have to say, as someone who suffered trauma and grief and went the "talk to the dead" route, it's not healthy.

It's not really good for people, and it's a great way to wreck havoc on your life, even if you believe it's "only" your subconscious. Everyone has inner demons.

There are ways they can become outer ones.

I lost a son. It was never determined if he was murdered or suicide. I don't talk about it unless I am trying to counsel someone else with a loss. The dead cannot come back and and their loved ones need to move on for everybody to find peace. You'll make your grief worse and that is not healthy.

It's something called a "ghost box." Basically, it just sweeps through AM and FM, randomly. You can change the speed. You end up listening to a lot of dead air and jumbled messages.

People say it's pareidolia, but I heard my dead parents' voices on it.

I asked about my Mom and I got her nickname and it said your Dad hurt her (which was true).

Also, a fair amount of random nasties.

Something tried to tell me my dead Dad was angry at me, and I still think impersonated both my parents.

I got the last message my Dad left on my voicemail.

I got things like...Rose...we love Rose...don't leave us. And then things like...Rose...**** off.

Something told me to jump (I figured it meant off a bridge or a roof or something).

I was called an infidel by something.

I asked about aliens, and the "ghosts" said that's just silly. I know...the irony.

At any rate, it'll mess with your head (and your hearing, if you wear headphones and listen to static for too long).

Plus, it'll definitely kick up the woo around you. Sounds like you already have that issue.

The thing to do would probably be to oust it with a banishment and not encourage it with something like a ghost box.

Trying to talk to him won't bring closure. Quietly remembering the happy times helps though. I lost my older sister and her husband and child too. I will never find closure with Sondra and my little metal head. It upsets me to type this but when I think about them I think about our good times and I strive to spend as must good time together with my older stepsister and her family because they are all I have left close to me and you never know.

Among the Quakers when you lose a spouse they try to help you find another match to help you move on faster and not grieve yourself sick.

I ordered mine online somewhere. I don't remember where and I wouldn't promote sales of anything.

It's meant for entertainment like a Ouija game is.

But there is a rabbit hole to go down regardless of the mode you choose.

It's just there are a lot of icky things on the way.

Ultimately, when I finally did get the voices of my Mom and Dad, I didn't know what to say.

I just sat there stunned and then turned the thing off.

I really don't believe it was them. I think whatever it is...it mimics.

Call it demons, call it archons, call it the dark depths of your subconscious.

Whatever it is...it's not nice. It's not your dead loved ones.

It will say things to hurt you.

Flickering lights is often no problem but for safety I include the following link:

https://www.doityourself.com/stry/flickeringlights

Or from this link

http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/home_and_garden/2010/10/10/ignoring-flickering-lights-could-result-in-house-fire.html

Quote

-*- Flickering or dimming lights. This could indicate a short in the wiring, dangerous arcing or an overextension of your home’s electrical systems.

Quote

Fires that start in electrical systems or lighting equipment kill about 320 people a year, injure another 830 and damage more than 24,000 homes.

Yeah, why don't they ever hear, I'm so disappointed in you?

I'll tell ya why...because the customer is always right.

Well, they might give practical advice, but after experiencing higher spiritual levels, love becomes their leading emotion which means encouraging the living. I feel that is the message I would want to give to my son after I pass on, too.

Well, your son is probably a good person.

How about the sons who aren't? Somebody out there is a serial killer, right?

Why don't we ever hear I hate what you've become?

Because they're not really talking to dead relatives. They're just telling people what they want to hear for a price.

I think it is because 98% of the people in general are basically good with normal human challenges that the spirit world understands. I never heard a reading for a serial killer, I guess, so I'm not sure.

Most of the people claiming to be mediums can be shown to be using very mundane cold reading tactics.

It's disgusting, really.

They take advantage of grieving people for their own monetary benefit.

Although there may be charlatans out there, I believe there are also real mediums out there doing good honest work.

I have read studies of 'gifted' mediums who produced amazing results under triple-blind experimental conditions that make cold/hot readings impossible. Cold reading specialists admit they could not produce under these conditions. I am convinced that there are genuinely gifted mediums out there.
