A Kiwi Trade Me user is looking to flog off a piece of "haunted" artwork after witnessing a string of "unexplained" activities inside their home.

The painting of a Soul Bowl was purchased in a Pauanui antique store, but the art owner suspects "something came into the house with it."

Taking to Trade Me, the seller wrote: "Creepy painting, comes with its own shadow person.

How about she set up a camera and when i can see this activity and shadow person in action. Then i may consider buying it.

With all that alleged activity, i would expect to see something to back it up.

Actually, shame she did not put it on here first prior to putting it up for sale . .we could have helped her with her starting price.....1c  or $1000.00 or all she has to pay for is a drive to the tip.

Freetoroam - You know shadow figures can't be photographed with conventional equipment.  Ask any ghost chaser!

Seriously, I have seen something in my yard that freaked-out my old dog.  It appeared to be a shadow, but who knows.  As far as I know, never came back.  My current dog is a rescue dog that's afraid of pretty much everything at times, but she's never had an issue where my old dog and I had the experience.  I'm going to keep a slightly open mind on the subject, but this does sound like a bunko job to me.

I might try to bid on the painting. I have 4 really great haunted paintings already, and some others that aren't all that impressive. The best one I have is of an old fisherman near retirement. You would have to see mine, and I tried to post the picture in this thread, but I am not sure that it worked....

Paint in some cereal and I'll bet it stops being haunted.

Any self respecting spectre would not be caught dead haunting of a bowl of lucky charms.

There was a little painting underneath the main one, that is the one that has the weird feelings. It's a picture of a African man, and it was tucked in the backing of the painting, looks primitive tribal.

It's not a bad painting, the feeling is always there.

The best one I have is of woman in slinky dress, posing cabaret style or like a brothel dancer or some sort  She makes an apparition sometimes, and on the EVP she is looking for a cute baby. She always says, "aww look, a little baby!" and tries to kiss where she sees the child.
