I know the child was stillborn and long dead from lack of oxygen but did anyone check it's status at the time of the woman's death?

I imagine that the baby died shortly after the mother died.  It's a weird story, though.

coffin births are rare but not unheard of... still, it's pretty creepy. i know i wouldn't want to witness something like that.

That's what I was wondering; they could have delivered the baby and saved his/her life.
