Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, and James Comey were all corrupt and they took their orders from Obama.

Justice day is coming soon, and then I want to hear a mea culpa from some folks here.

Oh, is that a certainty ?.... as I was under the impression that Mr Trump sent it back to the House Intelligence Committee to make certain necessary changes to it, before possibly releasing it. Can his decision be over ruled, if it comes to that ? (as in not releasing it I mean)

I doubt that Allende and Mossadegh did. We could fill a thread with posts that show why it's unwise to blindly trust the intelligence community. Clapper's dishonesty is the least of it. The majority of agents are good people, but let's be real.

If Comey's corrupt? Sure. Heck -- you can have it early.

If Comey's corrupt -- I will confess right now that I never saw it coming.

I was blinded by his prior service record.

I thought the man who refused to sign the renewal of the secret domestic warrantless wiretapping program, would be a straight arrow for the American people.

I thought the man who tried to limit the use of torture in the Bush administration was a decent human being.

You, however, saw straight through him.

I thought your now-obvious truth was false, and for that I apologize.

Mea Culpa.

Save that for later, in case we really are in the darkest timeline.

I'm sure there are bad ones, too. Same in every organisation, pretty much everywhere.

Innocent until proven guilty applies both ways.

I'm defending Steele from entirely unevidenced accusations of producing a "Fake Dossier", a "Dodgy Dossier", or it's latest incarnation -- "a forgery fed to him by Evil Hillary".

Honestly, I doubt Mr Steele is sufficiently naive to have just believed everything the Russians told him was absolute pristine truth. I suppose anything is possible, but add to this that Mr Steele was aware all this was for a piece of political opposition research. When certain others 'helped' out in the process, others like Mr Blumenthal and Mr Shearer, there was still no speculation that this just might be a political 'hit piece' designed to smear an opponent verses being an above board fact gathering effort (?). Keep in mind the reasons why Mr Blumenthal wasn't even allowed near the Obama White House. No, none of this looks very good in the least. Quite frankly, Mr Steele would be the most credulous (dare I say dumbest) secret agent I've ever heard of if he wasn't at least suspicious regarding the veracity of the sources and methods used to create his dossier.

The first comment on that video : "Nice work Jim, but for crying the hell out loud,...get a investigation going! Oh and fire this biased a**hole Director, and get rid of the candy a**Jeff Sessions as well! Jezz!! WTF?"

This is what's become obvious, we don't need another "good talking politician"  what we need is a real investigation of Hillary & Obama.

This part, "It was probably Peter Strzok who took the application to the FISA Court..."  Now, that's really critical as Mr Strzok was well aware that the dossier wasn't strong/good/verified intelligence.

Steele himself in the dossier describes those he talked with as  "a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure," "a senior Russian government official," a one-time "top level Russian intelligence officer active inside the Kremlin," and a "senior Kremlin official."

Aren't these the people Fusion says Trump is colluding with? Why would they say anything?

What's more, as we've noted before, it was the Democrats and Hillary Clinton, not Trump, who made use of the information in the Steele Dossier during the campaign, information provided by Russian government officials. So who's really colluding here?

The dossier is a mess of unverified charges of criminality against Trump officials, including that they helped coordinate the hacking of Democratic Party computers by the Russian government.

Yet, once again in the op-ed, there is no proof given for any of the dossier's most serious assertions of criminal acts. We're supposed to take their word for it. Or rather, Russian government officials' word.

https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/fusion-gps-fake-investigation-and-hillary-clintons-real-russian-collusion/

Obama's Justice Department, then under Eric Holder, knew about this but did nothing about it. And, despite knowing about Russia's illegal activities, when the Rosatom bid to take over Uranium One came up for a vote, the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment (CFIUS) approved it in 2010. Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a member of the CFIUS board, voted in favor of the deal. So did Holder.

If that sounds funny, it should. Because it turns out that the Clinton Foundation, the global "charity" run by Bill and Hillary, had taken in an estimated $145 million from Uranium One shareholders and executives, mostly around the time the deal was being approved.

The Justice Department waited until 2014, after Hillary's departure from office, to do anything about the Russian criminal activity. And details of the Uranium One deal didn't even emerge until 2015, after Holder left office. It reeks of quid-pro-quo double-dealing that involved Clinton using her powerful office of secretary of state to enrich her own private foundation and family.

Americans may be starting to come around to the idea that something very bad happened.

Maybe proof isn't the idea at all. Rather it's about finding a way to hobble a highly effective conservative president who seems dead set on changing Washington for good and for the better. Talk about a real threat to the progressive Democrats and their allies in the Deep State.

I think the democrats are playing this childish game because they are in really deep S.  The arguments we are having with the left in this thread are, let's face it, childish.  Their hopes and dreams of a secret about to explode, for over a year now, have gone from speculation to pure fantasy and now delusion. The democrat "memo" being loaded with sources and methods in order to force Trump to redact is a last gasp of desperation but why are they so desperate?  One name, Bill Priestap.

You haven't heard that name but you should because he is central to this whole thing, far more important than the progressives like Strzok and Page that we are all familiar with so why is he in the shadows?  My guess is Mr. Priestap is cooperating and that has the left pulling their hair out.   Everyone, including me, is thinking Special Prosecutor but a SP isn't necessary, at least not right now, a senior prosecutor who is trustworthy (read not a fellow traveler of the corrupt progressives) is sufficient.  We'll find out soon I believe.

Rep. Jordan presses Jeff Sessions to appoint special counsel

Jim Jordan asks Jeff Sessions what's it gonna take to get a special council ?  and is told by Sessions that it would take facts .Jordan asks is that what's going on now? Listen to what Sessions says to him.

The Inspector General's report is due to be released sometime in April. This is when we will see some facts presented. At that point it's really not going to matter whose suppositions/explanations appear to be better...the facts have a way of doing that.

OMG, this was so funny.

Jordan: Lists off all the claims against Hillary.  Asks why can't we have a special counsel.

Trump supporter/appointee (and probably under oath)  Sessions:  Sorry, but we have to use facts.

sounds to me as if Sessions is saying you can think and say what you like - but we act on facts.  Which surprisingly - is quite sensible.

Who told you Trump sold a "condo" for $100 million?

I found this interesting since I have worked in multiple million dollar estates and personally know many real estate agents.

So I looked into it.

It wasn't a "condo".

It was a 62, 000 square foot mansion.  It wasn't torn down immediately either...

Just curious... how would one tear down a condo? Lol

Anyhow... Trump purchased the "mansion" ..all 62, 000 SF of it in 2003 from somebody who went bankrupt.  Yeah... He bought it for much less than it's value right off the bat because he purchased it from an individual who was dissolving his estate due to bankruptcy.

That happened in 2003.

Trump listed the mansion for $125 million.

It sat on the market for a few years.

It sold in 2008 for $95 million.

The buyer, yes a Russian oligarch, claims he purchased it as an investment... Worth at the time around 12 billion and 59th on the world's B's list.

After the purchase he and his wife divorced.  No dates given in the article I'll attach.

It was a messy divorce.  She was originally awarded 4 billion and then it reduced to just under a billion and then settled out of court privately.

Then the mansion was demolished and subdivided into three separate properties.

As of the date of the article one property sold for $34 million last year.

https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/why-did-a-russian-pay-95m-to-buy-trumps-palm-beach-mansion/

He didn't buy it from someone who was bankrupt, he bought it at auction from whoever owned the guy's debt. The place was built less that 20 years before and located in an excellent area, so this auction was hardly Homes Under the Hammer, with crazy-low prices.

The billionaire bought it for this incredible markup during the housing market crash in Florida, the state probably hit worst by the crash - way above market value. He made it the most expensive house in the US without viewing it or having it in any way inspected and it lay empty, unused for nearly a decade. That completely sounds like a savvy billionaire. It's obvious now, with such smarts, how he made all his money.

It was demolished after his divorce and he has built 3 apartments, which, after 10 years of inflation and his buying it at supposedly the best time to buy property in the US, he won't even break even - and that's before even taking into account not only the cost of the demolition but also the cost of actually building 3 luxury apartments. It has been a massive loss, and nothing about the situation smells clean. But you believe what you want.

Russian oligarchs are commonly known to operate this way in the US and elsewhere when laundering money. It's their modus operandi and there's a reason why the first person Mueller recruited to his team specialises in money laundering.

But, that was just one example. There are others

Like I said, I personally believe Trump is being blackmailed over this and time will tell if I'm right or wrong.

What is scary is when Wray stated that he has to sign FISA apps everyday.  Sounds like something is wrong.  Are there that may bad guys working in the country or is this overreach and unnecessary?  We’re seeing the Obama apparatus still at work here.  I think an investigation into the whole process is warranted.  Let’s look and the political break down of subjects these FISA apps are for.  FISA should be something that is seldomly used.

Man!  The intrigue is pegging off the meter.  Can’t tell if Sessions is dirty, incompetent, or hiding something?  The first two are trivial.  But what if he is hiding something?  Jordan lists just a few of the facts and Sessions dismisses them as if one is trying to divert one’s gaze away.  Is it possible that some kind of “secret” special counsel has been setup or some covert sting operation is taking place?  One thing for sure, there is more here than meets the eye.
