If someone wants to say that our souls are electromagnetic, then there's a problem with that. The earths magnetic field dwarves our own. It would be like comparing a fridge magnet (us) to an neodymium magnet (earth). We'd vanish once the power source is cut off.

It has erroded many myths already that many believed for centuries. And at the same time gave us artificial limbs and defibrillators. 

I'm yet to see somone meditate or pray an arm or a leg back, let alone do that for others with repeatability and predictability. 

Seems to me science is what's helping us out here.
