Still Waters

btw the problem with desalination plants is that they use a lot of energy

They also only work when you live next to the sea ......

Left with no other options some countries are already doing this. Pipe lines are built to transport inland. Think of California and inland areas 100 yrs from now.

Glaciers aren't melting. And there is no global warming.

There is a list of global temperature anomalies here:  http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/tabledata_v3/GLB.Ts+dSST.txt

Note all the negatives before 1900 and note that there are none after 2000.  Why is that?

In 2000, Oklahoma City was about 2/3 degree F. warmer than it was in 1900.  That's from my own research using records by the US Army Surgeon General, US Army Signal Corp, US Dept. of Agriculture, US and Oklahoma Weather Bureaus and US Weather Service.  A paper by:

Burnette, DJ, DW Stahle and CJ Mock.  2010.  Daily-mean temperature reconstructed for Kansas from early instrumental and modern observations.  American Meteorological Society, http://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/full/10.1175/2009JCLI2445.1 February 7, 2017

shows even greater warming in Manhattan, Kansas.

Both papers are from direct instrumental measurements.  No climate models.  Just hundreds of thousands of observations (Burnette used 65,987 daily temperature observations taken in Kansas.  I will use even more from Oklahoma.).

There is NO scientific doubt that the world is getting warmer, carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere are increasing and that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas.  There is little doubt that human activities are the source of most of this extra carbon.

You can read about shrinking glaciers in lots of travel journals.  Pictures comparing glacier fronts today with pictures taken 50 or 100 years ago are quite popular.  The only place where temperate-zone glaciers are not shrinking is the Karakoram Mountains.  You can blame that on local weather anomalies or insulation by all the dirt and rock in those glaciers; the exact cause is still under study.

Or you can read the posted article.

Now, what evidence do you have that the world is not getting warmer and/or that glaciers are not melting?
