mypaddedroom Posted March 8, 2005 #76 Share Posted March 8, 2005 game was never in g-unit, like it was said above me, dr dre brought game in and placed him in g-unit for hype 515805 yeah true execept game was co signed to g-unit now he is only signed to AFTERMATH records no longer co-signed to g-unit records
Omnibus Posted March 8, 2005 #77 Share Posted March 8, 2005 Yeah, g-unit is East Coast everyone is from New York except GAME ang Young Buck. Buck is from Cashville, TN. Also g-unit signed a rapper SPIDER LOC he use to be signed to Death Row so he's west coast to. But Dr.DRE basically owns SHADY/Aftermath/G-unit dre made g-unit. So of course he'd make 50cent sign a West coast rapper to g-unit!lol PLus 50 is making a label for g-unit called g-nit mid west or west coast something like that. 468359 Have they made that yet? When this is cool, So where are all the Bad RAp Threads?

I hate fabolous I thought Styles P was in the remix not fab.... 518033 I think Fabolous is good, he can take out 50 lyrically any day.. _hAiLO_ Posted March 10, 2005 #81 Share Posted March 10, 2005 What makes the song to single status, the beat or the lyrics? To me, it sound like the beat makes it...or is it just me?
DarkSinister Posted March 10, 2005 #82 Share Posted March 10, 2005 yeah it's mostly the beats cause all people care about is dancing to it. But i like lyrics, they have deeper meaning...

Super Pancake Posted March 10, 2005 #84 Share Posted March 10, 2005 50 cent and The Game agreed to a truce today. I think it is a conspiracy, I knew the beef had to be fake, I bet they did it just to hype 50's new cd the timing was perfect just like the beef he had with Ja Rule and his last record. _hAiLO_ Posted March 10, 2005 #85 Share Posted March 10, 2005 You know what? That could have been it Super Pancake!! But really, how does the beef hype album sales...which shouls just make the rapper hated even more... The things that amaze me so much is really when I surf the internet for really good rap songs, I find so many with decent beats and all these songs that deserve to be released. I find it hard that there is almost no difference between the songs I find on the internet and the songs I see on MTV/BET/VH1, or hear on the radio... Sometimes I think its the sex appeal that makes the song so good...you think? Candy Shop, Sugar, man...were is all the songs out there that are straight morallity? mypaddedroom Posted March 10, 2005 #86 Share Posted March 10, 2005 It could not have been to promote his ablum. Because there is no way he could write a song about GAME and put it on the album in 3days NOT POSSIBLE. 3days before the album is made the tracks are already official. I think he did a truce b-cuz h did not think game would resond the way he did. Game already dissed g-unit at concert. To the HOW WE DO BEAT GAME said "g g g-unit can suck my....lloyd banks can suck my....tony ayo(haha) can suck my....and olivia can suck my...." I say 50 got scared of the beef not to prmoote album theres no way he could diss game on the album that quick ne way
Super Pancake Posted March 10, 2005 #87 Share Posted March 10, 2005 Yes beef can hype records Tupac-biggie ring a bell, Tupac is quoted to saying he disses Biggie to sell records. It can hurt also like Ja Rules "blood in my eye" was weak in sell's not because he was loosing against 50 cent but his lyrical content was different from his previous albums that the fans loved. but when the beef between The Game an upcoming rap artist and 50 cent an already made artist started their beef just right before the album is out, fans got excited about the new 50 album and went out a got it. Now the beef is squashed other rappers are calling foul because we all know 50 don't agree to any truce without literally dissing the hell out of his enemies. Why would 50 be scared of a nobody rapper he disses already made people to be scared of a nobody . I do have to agree Hailo_hellFIRE rap in the mainstream media is no different from independent artist and most of the time they are lyrically better. But I don't have time to search for good music in the past for years I started listening to rock and punk just because the content rapped about is not genuine to me

kikuchiyo Posted March 10, 2005 #89 Share Posted March 10, 2005 In original lyrics there should be Del the Funkee Homosapian in there, Sole (not solay[don't know what she sounds like] Sole the guy from Anticon), Doseone and themselves. Del with Dan the Automator and Kidkoala are one of the greatest less knowed band out there...a shame really.

_hAiLO_ Posted March 11, 2005 #93 Share Posted March 11, 2005 Have you heard of that new song by Common called 'The Corner'? Thats real music...I like that one. But I can't stop listening to this new one by Fat Joe called 'So much more', keeps me going . In my opinion, the rappers that have the best lyrics, the best songs with the best meanings, I think they should be the one on top. Common is somewhere there, he just released 'The Corner', now its time for the rest to sparkle!!!
