The meaning of crows throughout history

Around here it is rooks and jackdaws that are the most common crow birds, sometimes the sky is filled with big flocks of these birds (actually I had rooks in my garden as late as today, their beaks are terrifying). Wonder if rooks and jackdaws have had any particular mythological meaning.

Odin's birds could of been Rooks or Ravens.

My spirit animal is a crow, I’ve always felt a draw to them (even though we don’t have them in my country) when I asked the clairvoyant I see regularly, she said it is because “crows guide souls”. Not historical but I do love them and saw the topic about them lol
