Yes, my nephrologist has emphasized the traveling situation. That's why he and my nurses are recommending local. Luckily Chicago has several centers, and even the one in Milwaukee wouldn't be bad (train). The one I'll probably avoid is the Mayo in Minnesota. Excellent facility, but that'd be an awfully long way to have to go.

One nurse told me Northwestern (in Chicago) has been working on an artificial kidney. Of course, by the time it's developed and the FDA has approved it, 150 years will have passed. And I will have been dead for 135 of those years.

Heh, you get up to  Mil and the Hiawatha station, I know a great pub right down the road from there with goood food. Their bloody Mary’s are kind of meh.

He might've said, "I'm tired of holding onto your wood."

Nope, that was my dad's line. Then he stopped. Opened his mouth. Realized what he'd said. Said "Nevermind." and walked  away.

I forgot about your ear problems on planes. I'm lucky I've never had that problem. My ears will plug on takeoff, as the pressure changes, but will clear soon after, on their own. But I have never flown 22 hours (or anything close to that), and I'm not sure what I'd do with myself for so long. What do you do on a plane for 22 hours?

I'm out of likes again.

I'm going to speak to my Dr because either this year or early next I want to go Tropical North Queenland where theres a croc park open to public and through the rainforest there.

6 hours in Dec 1.5 Adelaide to Melbourne, sit in airport 2 hours waiting for Melb to Newcastle flight. Return the flights were 10 mins apart

I've never been a fan of bloody Mary's, but if I get that kidney, I'd need to give it a workout with some goood food!

It's Ohio. They now have walk-in shower stalls.

@seeder

What the hell? We banged heads multiple times and always came back friendly a while later.

***HEAD BUMP***

We don't get it either, but it got bad. Best not to discuss it.

Last month there was a thread that a good chunk of your north coast came from Canada, millennia ago.

You're welcome!

What's the patronim (unless I'm wrong there) for someone from Ohio.

An Ohioian? Ohioer? Ohioinite?

Image result for gummy lolly eyes candy anyone?

I prefer my eyeballs less dilated.

Is that a hard candy?

If that was a soft candy that would be just too gross.

I'm pretty sure it's Ohioan. It's patronym, or patronymic. I am a nerd.

I don't know if I could eat anything that's staring at me. In the very least, I just hope when you bite into one, it doesn't squirt all over the place.

Check the container to see what they're made of. "Each Eyeball Candy is filled with 100% real vitreous humor!"
