WHAT IS UP WITH THOSE PENTAGON UFO VIDEOS?

The article describes a federally funded program that investigated reports of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs, the take-me-seriously acronym that includes UFOs). And within the story, the Times embedded videos of two such UAPs.

This has been discussed in numerous threads already. Find one of them and read.

it would seem to me that the U.S. government is slowly telling the public that there's something out there.

"The AATIP team, Elizondo says, took strange-sighting reports from pilots, as well as associated data like camera footage and radar returns, and tried to match them with known international aircraft signatures. “What we found many times was the fact that the aircraft did not belong to anybody,”

so in this paragraph, what we have is the DoD admitting that these signals captured by U.S. pilots and installations don't MATCH any known aircraft.

the reality is that this is the closest we have come to the U.S. government confirming the existence of extraterrestrial aircraft.

Not this again.

What makes the US so special from the rest of the world?

A pilot sees something he does not recognise, it does not equate to an alien craft from another planet...it does equate to a UFO though.

KNOWN craft......being an American pilot does not mean they know every craft or light phenomena out there.

Researchers are still discovering new and extinct life and lifeforms on Earth.

The researchers and do not forget the space scientists, have been researching and looking for much longer than these pilots...they claim to find new things, but they do not say it is not of this world.......everything newly discovered is either from this world or out in space....alien crafts have never been recorded....and their research is intense.

This pilot saw something....so what? ...he was a pilot, not an astronomer, professional climatologist or meteorologist, so it is highly likely he did see something he did not recognise.

special in the sense that the U.S. are world leaders in aerospace and technology. they have resources and methods of analytical detection second to none. they had a pilot eyewitness... a radar and camera recording to prove it. now if the aircraft is employing aerodynamics beyond those we have then what other conclusion can be made?

Bolded: no pilots can make mistakes but in this case there is scientific proof to back up what the pilot saw.

Red: well this craft was recorded. and your point is what?

if it moves like a duck, acts like a duck and quacks like one... its a duck!

It certainly looks that way.

Had you you read the thread I linked to you would know that the video does not match the story. The video shows a distant plane.

Instead of starting a new thread and making all of the same mistakes, which you are, read the existing thread.

It is a new story, but the topics being covered have been discussed here several times before.

I think this one is similar enough to recommend heading over there rather than starting a new thread about it.

Closed.
