bit about Eliot Higgins author / organiser / front man of Bellingcat

:geek:

edit to add quote...

Let me guess, if Eliot will say "Hitler was very very very bad man", you'll jump on "NO! Higgins lying! Hitler was a good man". Am I right?

Anyway, piece of a joke Maria Zakharova (spokesperson for Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) wrote in her FB: why Bellingcat for 5 months haven't published photos, screenshots, and videos of Petrov and Bashirov doing something that is raising questions. :w00t:

That stupid woman is unaware that MET Police named names only in 5th of September.:D

Even more, few days ago she jumped right into conspiracy about the same timestamps on screenshots from Gatwick airport :D

Heck, looks like russian goverment hiring people from mental institutions...

Really ? Under what banner is the "critical thinking" taught ?

It's not taught under a banner, it's taught right across the curriculum.

You can actually take an A level in it as well. It's the clever version of general studies though :P

well I looked at the translation of Zakharova's FB post and she says..

"The FMS base was only hacked today? About Petrova and Boshirova London announced a long time. Even before they began to suspect. And all this time there were no "databases"?"

so I looked to see if there were any mention of the 2 Russians from a while back - there's probably other
links but this one...

on the google search dated 28th March..

A Fresh Look at the Skripal Timeline – binReminded – Medium

https://medium.com/@binreminded/a-fresh-look-at-the-skripal-timeline-9739e89add45

28 Mar 2018 - It is generally agreed by all news media that on March 4th 2018 Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia left his Salisbury home in Christie Miller ...

mentions them, but not by name and there is even a pic of them that is now never used.. probably because
at that time the story of novichok on the door handle wasn't the official narrative and the story was more about being poisoned in town.... and by fentanyl ..

quote and pic from the article..

The Russian GRU agents are at Dauwalders 9 minutes later at 13.49 pm a few minutes away from the Mill Pub — or 51 minutes earlier [the CCTV date 03–04–2018 — is it the 4th March or the 3rd April — a month later. Or if the clock is also 1 hour wrong at 12.49. This gives them 6 minutes to get to the train station — if they rushed. They look very casual for people in a rush].

1*qCQ2qe0JfmFTDEVdi8i6wA.png

so Petrov and Boshirov were already known (either as genuine suspects or possible victims of a frame up)
back in March and this must be what Zakharova was talking about...

edit to add..... bit of confusion with the time stamps on the cctv image above just like with the
airport one...

It's clear there is enough police evidence to name and prosecute the two men. Until their arrest and court case everything is speculation and media speculation. Under British law both men are innocent until found guilty. Russia won't extradite the two men, due to their constitution and the two men though innocent won't freely travel to the UK to face the charges.

The British authorities are fantastic either way,

1) they tracked down the killers from the Russian federation secret service. Gathered enough evidence for prosecution.

Or

2) they've pieced everything together in a false flag operation, they've not only fooled the local police force, they fooled the international community and UN institutions, and to put the cherry on the cake they've found two innocent Russian tourists, who just happen to be in the wrong place at the right time.

The British Govt can do all this yet can't make the trains run time.

Don't forget the possibility of Alien involvement, Stevewinn. Or the Bavarian Illuminati ? Or the Bilderbergers ? Or the East Leak Allotment Association !

OK, when names Boshirov and Petrov were announced publicly?

Next thing, 4.8km/h (distance 480 m in 6 min) is far from the rush (6-7km/h).

As for the same timestamps, see stewewinn's post (and links therein) again.

GRU Colonel Chepiga revealed as Skripal suspect's real identity

An investigative journalism website has published what it says is the real identity of one of the Russian intelligence officers suspected of the Salisbury nerve agent poisoning.

So much for these "poor innocent tourists". Not that anyone but the gullible and paranoid was fooled anyway.

Thought this opinion piece might interest a few....  The incompetence of Russian spies.

"There have been some observers who have expressed their doubt that Moscow is responsible for the Skripal poisoning, arguing that it could not have acted so clumsily, especially after the Litvinenko case. Why would Russia want another such scandal - the argument goes.

They are partially right: Russia really doesn't need such a scandal right now. Yet, we should not be surprised about its intelligence agencies undertaking such a mission and failing in it. As the popular saying goes: Never attribute to conspiracy that which is adequately explained by incompetence.

For some reason, there is a general perception that unlike other state institutions in Russia, the intelligence agencies are quite professional and capable. Perhaps Hollywood should be blamed for this misconception. To garner interest and sell its films, the US movie industry tends to feature unrealistic depictions of Russian spies as dangerous and highly skilful men and women, who fight it out with their Western counterparts.

But if one is to shoot a realistic film about the GRU, it would probably have to be a comedy. In fact, the last few years of Russian intelligence blunders provide plenty of material for the script."

Interesting development in the infamous Skripal poisoning case.... A NYT article has inadvertently
blown the gaff on it all after revealing that Trump was persuaded to expel 60 Russian diplomats
by being shown pictures of sick children and dead ducks.... :unsure2:

CIA Director and NYT Accidentally Expose Skripal Poisoning Hoax - DUCKGATE

It just beggars belief what the whole country and Salisbury in particular was put through early last
year in the run up to the World Cup ...

'Duckgate' doesn't answer all the questions  - I doubt that will ever happen - but it does show that subterfuge
was used to get Trump to expel 60 Russian diplomats - he was lied to...

I can't even remember anything about children and ducks being part of the narrative... but apparently AFTER
allegedly being poisoned by the deadliest nerve agent known to man - contaminated by some on the door handle
at the house..... father and daughter Skripal were caught on CCTV feeding ducks with bread and giving
some bread to children (one who ate some) to give to the ducks.... which would mean if it had been novichok
the children and ducks would be .... well...... dead ducks... :hmm:

what a palaver the whole sorry business was... presumably to drive a wedge between Western Nations and Russia...
(amongst other things..)
