Or just setting the record straight. Hearing people proclaim Trump's money as proof of personal success is like hearing people proclaim Hillary got her job because of her love for people.

I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage sir. I hadn't heard that.

My apologies it was into a basic index fund not a bank:

Donald Trump Would Be Richer If He'd Have Invested in Index Funds

And on that point we differ.

If it's not success, what would it be?

When Bill was getting BJs from an intern in the Oval Office you leftist SJW were screaming that we should shut uo and leave him alone, that sex between adults is private.  Remember that?  All of a sudden this is story number one and she hasn't even proved she is telling the truth (no blue dress), a porn star for chirissakes!    Hypocritical leftist children one and all. LMAO.  BTW,if he messed around with tis tramp he wasn't the president, hell he wasn't even running so iyt really was private wasn't it?  Clinton was a sitting president and he did it on the oval office!  Hypocrites.

That's a fair point. I heard one leftist pundit condemn Trump for his coarse language, but the same pundit was mute when Clinton had oral sex in the Oval Office. JFK and the rest of the Kennedy dynasty make Trump look like a virginal monk. The different reactions are as hypocritical as can be.

LOL well here it comes again

He was born rich and "took over" his daddys company when it was already worth over 200million dollars and then inherited gobs when his father died.

According to Forbes he would actually be richer if he had simply put his money in the bank and left it alone putting even his business acumen into question.

Instead of putting every dollar into the interest account may have been smart but not doing it isn’t stupid given that he used the money to create thousands of jobs, fame, a household name brand and ultimately a top position in the White House. C’mon, hearing all us fairly broke people yak on about how to beat utilize millions of dollars is kind of lame considering he actually did well with it.

I think Mr. Kim and Mr. Trump will get along well when they finally meet face-to-face. The self-imposed insular life of a paranoid dictator must be mind-numbingly boring. Remember his father’s bizarre infatuation with Madeline Albright, and the long visits with Dennis Rodman? President Trump, with his eccentric personality and expertise at remaining spotlight-worthy, is currently the most interesting person on the planet. Kim Jong Un would be star-struck, meeting a longtime celebrity like Donald Trump, rubbing elbows with the man-of-the-hour.

I believe the catalyst for Pres. Kim’s offer to attend negotiations was his realization that he was watching on television as the world gathered for the Winter Olympics, sitting at home just miles away, unable to participate. Even brutal dictators have a longing to be ‘part of the gang’. Maybe Mr. Trump’s eccentricity and in-person warmth will be what causes Mr. Kim to abandon his seclusive nature.

That’s exactly how Kim was portrayed in The Interview.

It’s a bit long but I got a kick out of it plus I liked the way they touched on the functions of such a strange country.

I guess I could have worded that differently because he has been successful on a certain level. Just not on a "picked myself up by my bootstraps and built an empire " level as we're being led to believe.

Oh, oh, speaking of adults - wait, you conveniently forgot to address the topic.

I refuse to believe you'll run away so quickly.

So, on topic, in the meantime another one of the best people was fired. Tillerson. Is it not the Apprentice going on in the White House?

And you expect people to believe Trump and only the best people around him could organize a kid's birthday party, let alone NK negotiation?

Of course, it's possible that Russians will organize it for Trump, but don't you start to wonder if there will be anyone left to keep Trump company by then?

What would be the point, for any president/prime minister/similar, of meeting Trump? His supporters might pretend they don't see it, but that person has absolutely no credibility left.

Tillerson was told on Friday by the CoS that he was being fired (remember his sudden illness in Africa).  https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2018/03/rex-tillerson-firing-timeline/555464/

Tillerson was making a side deal with the European signatories to salvage the flawed Iran treaty with few changes thereby blatantly disregarding the president's orders.  This in and of itself is enough to get him fired.  http://freebeacon.com/national-security/tillerson-fired-rogue-bid-save-iran-nuke-deal/

Tillerson disagreed fundamentally with Trump, his boss, on climate change, Qatar and other subjects.  His obvious ignorance about the North Korea talks speaks volumes that he has been on the way out for a while.  Tillerson was a choice to calm the hysterics when trump was elected and never a first choice and his days were always limited.  Bye Rex, don't let the door hit you in the **** on your way out .

But outside the cult we have the objective reality.

In that reality, Tillerson was one of the best people only. Why was he named, if he wasn't the best? Is it that easy for Trump to misjudge who is the best, or is it so easy for Trump to change his mind on what constitutes the best? (By the way, Qatar scandal, where a whole country was victim of extortion, wasn't noticed only because there's so much more bizarre horrors falling daily out of Trump's... what to call it... administration it is not.)

In this, objective reality, Tillerson was fired not after he called Trump ****ing moron, not after he honestly said he wasn't informed of Trump's sudden decision to meet Kim, he was fired after saying the most obvious: that Russia has poisoned a man in UK, with exclusively Russian nerve poison.

Your Trump is almost comically scared of Putin.

What more has to happen for you cultists, so you start noticing how horrifyingly ridiculous your reasoning seems to the rest of the world?

Some posters here have crossed the line from dramatics to theatrics. Calm down already. Everything will be fine and we will continue carrying “the rest of the world” (such a tired line a few here think they represent) on our horrifying shoulders like we always have.

I don't think international relations are even the biggest concern for the US as it relates to the fallout of a Trump presidency so maybe this isn't the best place to ask the question but in your opinion at what point should we not be calm? Is there something you can identify which would signify for you that perhaps its become time to worry?

So, back here on topic, Trump wants to talk to Kim. Apparently, he doesn't need any Secretary of State to take the space in his plane or something.

Are you guys really oblivious of the intensity of the fire that your own house is on?

From South Korea to Syria, 32 countries don't have a US ambassador

Chicken Little has been screaming about the sky falling for some tine now. Meanwhile, the biggest problem in my life is the astronomically high and still rising costs of health insurance and subsequent bills for all the stuff they don’t cover. It’s truly ridiculous and about to push me out of the market completely (by design of course) and that ain’t Trump’s fault. Where is all the other doom and gloom certain people are nearly hyperventilating over? Seriously, I think some posters here need play doh and coloring books on hand if they don’t already. Btw, I never had you in mind. I know where you stand, but you’re not theatrical.

No outside the cult we have a president who differs fundamentally with his SecState dismissing him.   Apparently we are going to have the cult screaming bloody murder anytime Trump dismisses one of his employees which is fine because the public is growing weary of the constant hysterics the cult has been displaying since last November.

This type of posting, that’s theatrics.

SoS serves at the pleasure of the POTUS and speaks on his behalf. Tillerson isn’t a shot caller. Trump is. That’s not dictatorial. It’s just part of the broad powers of the presidency. I think things will turn out fine. You can hide in your bunker and scream at the sky. I don’t really care.

For how long isn't it Trumps fault though? What I mean by that is he is the one setting his administrations priorities.

BTW I feel you on that I had hernia sx last year and it failed in december and so now I'm getting fat again while saving money for another <_<

It's here. Look at our state department, we don't even have an ambassador to South Korea right now. Why not? Because Trump is all we need (his words) That kind of hubris is dangerous and when its coming from the POTUS its dangerous for everyone.

I think the vast majority of the fallout from Trump's reign will be felt years down the road though.

A crushing deficit, increased personal taxes, isolation on the international stage, environmental disaster and a strengthened oligarchy being a few of the more predictable outcomes.

I'm equally if not more concerned about the intangible outcomes however, literally the soul of America.

We have a president who has actively worked to erode faith in American institutions, specifically the other two branches of government and any law enforcement agency which has authority over him, has floated the idea of changing the first amendment because he didn't like the coverage he was getting, lies constantly - somewhere around 5 times a day on average - often about things which are wholly inconsequential to anything beyond his ego, whose policies and actions have emboldened white supremacists and brought them into the mainstream conversation, who has demonstrated repeatedly his willingness to place wholly unqualified individuals into high ranking positions they have no qualifications for, who has completely disregarded national security as it relates to security clearances, who is still to this day flaunting the emoluments clause of the constitution, who hired his own relatives to high ranking positions within the WH and who is ignoring his own national security team's recommendations.

The result of all of which will be felt long down the road.

Its really crazy if you read that fat list above none of that has anything to do with left vs right politics.

I personally have no problem with the firing of Tillerson but Helen has a point in that our state department is woefully undermanned.

All that needs to be told to him is 'serve you right'. Of course, no one will tell him that, precisely because it is the only thing that should be told.

It a hell of a thing, ain't it?

The very same people who hate us most want to always continue to carry on taking care of every damn thing in the world... and keep rooting for the other guys at the same time.

Its actually boring after enough repetitions, all this .... just, whatever the hell you can call it.

How can it even be interesting after 2 years of this back & forth?

Uh, Kim's "sneak agenda" is to solicit money with this BS position.

Kim has zero true intention of abandoning his continuing nuclear ambitions.

This was warned of, by other's, that Kim would manipulate his current condition to seek monies and covertly divert those international monies into his military.

I hope the US is not blind on this.
