Still Waters Posted March 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2018 People in eastern Europe have been wondering at the appearance of orange-tinted snow. Pictures of the snow have been posted on social media from Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania and Moldova. Meteorologists say the phenomenon is caused by sand from Sahara desert storms mixing with snow and rain. It occurs roughly once every five years but concentrations of sand are higher than usual his time. People have complained of sand in their mouths. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-43533804

Noxasa Posted March 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2018 "Wow... It could have been worse and "Yellow"... that would make people stay indoors?" Definitely, since men couldn't write their names in the snow anymore. :-)
