The interstitium, the shock-absorbing tissue underneath the skin, gut and blood vessels, has been identified as an organ for the first time according to a new study.

I'm amazed that such a widespread organ wasn't discovered until now!  I wonder what else is hiding in our bodies awaiting the creation of new instruments to discover?

Now we just have to find a better way to observe the new organ, if you get my drift.

Eastern medicine also alludes to a "hidden organ", but, not the same as this.

They (Eastern medicine) suggests that we have a primary and secondary heart.

The first is the well-known, classical heart.

The second "heart" is alluded by them to be directly related to certain biological tissues surrounding the human spine.

These tissues purportedly have a "pumping" action, assisting the primary heart.

Thus the emphasis within Eastern medicine of spinal health and suppleness through Yoga exercise.

How much of this is true I do not know, but thought to share... so don't beat me over the head.
