People use emotion to persuade

Still Waters

We intuitively use more emotional language to enhance our powers of persuasion, according to new research. Logic and emotion work hand in hand as part of the decision making process. It's no surprise then that emotive language can sway even the most logical of thinkers. Nice to see the data back this up.
