In earlier times, Jesus was also considered an alien being. He was not created but begotten, and this is where "monogenes" comes in. He was made of "heavenly substance," not just a hologram. Mary, His mother, was known by ancient people as Venus, Isis, Inanna, Astarte, Queen of Heaven, etc. The mother-son motif is not unique to Christianity.
