Bleeding Eye

Any advice would be tremendously appreciated!

Last summer I saw a curandero (spanish word for healer.) I was able to ask him three questions. I asked if these things I’ve sensed, and saw since I was a child, we’re all in my mind or real. He told me these feelings I have are real and advised me to do a couple things. He recommended I carry a cleansed amethyst that I’ve prayed over and to light a purple candle when I felt the feelings come over me. I haven’t done either things until recently. Last night I decided to light my purple candle and “meditate” while listening to white noise. I had an experience (that might be nothing) I vaguely remember. I wanted to try and open up to my abilities.

This morning, not long after I woke up, as I was getting ready for work, my right eye started to bleed from the socket. Could this be in a way related to my attempt to get in touch with my abilities? Has anyone heard of this happening? Again any advice would help!!!

No. You need to immediately have that checked out by a medical professional.

Right away. It has nothing at all to do with anything psychic.

Doctors have no clue what could’ve been the cause. Thanks for your obvious advice!

I’ve also read online that bleeding eyes could be caused by powerful premonitions. I’ve come across another guy with the same experience (bleeding from one eye). Despite the fact his post was from 10 years ago I tried reaching out to him with no response.

Believe as you wish. I answered you. I am somewhat experienced and this is not psychic it is physical and if you got it checked and they say it is normal and alright, should seek a better doctor, if in fact you have blood coming from your eye socket. I am amazed they would tell you they don't know and leave it at that if your eye was bleeding when you saw a doctor.

Lucky you, to get to talk with a curandero last time and now run into a Vodou Houngan asogwe.

I answered you. Believe as you wish. It is your eye, your health, your vision and your story.

@boyastray, can you explain the bleeding itself as detailed as possible?

And just with the above, did you actually go and see a doctor after it happened this morning?

I have never heard of this and I am close to people with strong psychic abilities.  This sounds very unusual.  You said doctors (plural) have no clue what could've been the cause?  Have you actually seen more than one doctor since this happened?  If you've only seen one doctor and they didn't know or didn't check you out very well, that doesn't surprise me but I would definitely get a second opinion.

@Not A RockstarYou’re random google lead me to this same website. Hard to find an explanation as to why bleeding from my eye socket would occur online. Wouldn’t you agree? With all do respect, is it unheard of for physic experiences to affect you physically? Also, I never said my doctor said it was “normal” or “alright” for my eye socket to bleed. She, more precisely, said “I’ve never had a patient tell me they’ve bled from their eye socket before. I’m not sure what could’ve been the cause given your eye looks normal.” I’m not looking to find something to “believe” in as much as I’m looking for someone who has heard of this happening. Thanks again for your response!

The bleeding occurred randomly. It didn’t seem to come from my eyeball as much as it seemed to becoming from behind or around my eyeball. It lasted maybe a minute. I felt dizzy and weak after it happened. I did see a doctor after.

@Goddess of the Mist I’ve never heard of this either. I came across an old forum where a man wrote of his eye bleeding a the possibility it could be intertwined with his growing psychic abilities. I by no means am implying they’re related, only seeking advice from those who think it might be or might’ve heard of this before. I said “doctors” but moreover meant the medical professionals I encountered in the office including the doctor who eximined me. Apologies for my misinterpretation. Thanks for the response

Aneurysm boy! You need tests and a good specialist! Listen to @Not A Rockstar. He actually is a Vodou Asogwe.

Now you have a Algonquian  Kiimochnii agreeing with him! Seriously. I suffer these!

Am I right in thinking by the time you were seen by a doctor there were no visible signs of anything wrong with your eye? That would mean any diagnosis made would have been based on what you told him/her. Did you tell the doctor it left you feeling dizzy and weak? It makes no sense to me that it was just left at that, no test referrals for example? What kind of doctor did you see, a GP or an eye doctor?

Lastly, if it were me I'd be far more concerned about my eye. Instead of trying to associate it with something psychic I'd be seeking medical help because it sounds quite serious. Never mess with your eyes, you could lose your sight. Anyway, you've already said you don't want that kind of advice and I can't offer you any other kind. So good luck and welcome to UM.

A bit off topic, your fault Piney

But I really hope I’m able to visit and do a decently long Algonquian park trip at some stage. Camping, fishing, canoeing, trekking, and taking all of my rubbish home (promise).

It looks like such a beautiful and natural place. I’ll hit you up for advice if I can get over that way.

Bleeding from the eye is a serious condition, and should be thoroughly examined by a qualified physician.

It has nothing to do with supposed psychic powers, and everything to do with a hemorrhage.

But, ya know, if you want to pretend it is a manifestation of your awesome mental abilities, well, I suggest you pick out the type of guide dog you want now, before you are blind.
