In November of 1963 President Kennedy was shot and killed.

In March of 1981 President Reagan was shot but recovered.

I think that's the reason for the intensity exhibited there.

Fun fact:

This awesome, absolutely fierce-looking Secret Service agent, a member of the U.S.S.S. Presidential Protective Detail also was seen, on occasion, behind Pres. Obama in the day.

If I purposefully bumped into THAT man, I would say "Excuse me" while secretly thinking...

"Uh-Oh, I'm dead"

Remember when Squeaky Frome tried to shoot President Ford?

My uncle was in the Secret Service. You can only do it for so long without some burnout.

He looks like a vicious predator, wanting someone to make a "move"

Like he don't take no gruff from anyone.

I would be willing to bet that some of the elite U.S.S.S. Presidential Protective Detail (like this man) are former Spec Ops.

Licensed to kill. And quite able to do just that, be it through the mini-machine gun under his jacket, or through his formidable and deadly hand-to-hand skills.

No-one to mess around with, for sure.

If he were my bodyguard, I'm fairly certain the Red Sea would part.
