Here in Ireland we have famous postman called Michael Gallagher, who for the past twenty odd years, has predicted the weather here in Ireland on a seasonal bases with great accuracy.

If your not familiar with Irish weather it's notoriously unpredictable. However using bird migration, wind patterns from previous seasons, historically based stories past down to him and other natural patterns he has predicted the weather with great accuracy. Although his predictions are vague they always seem to be correct. He has around 80% accuracy on his predictions.

He has given his prediction for this summer, according to him this summer here in Ireland will be very warm and we will have small episodes of thunder.

His predictions regarding snow fall are quite startling as snow fall here is very rare.

I was wondering if there are other forecasters using similar techniques to predict seasonal weather around the world.
