Try it and see. send a message to four people you do not have open convos with anywhere and see if the 4th is blocked like mine.

really? Most days I do not run into this either but I am a social person and sometimes, like today, it happened and nobody knows what I am talking about. So here I am in support hoping for an official answer.

The limit is in the number of new PM conversations you can start in a 24 hour period.

You can post as many replies to existing PM conversations as you like.

It's an anti-spam measure to prevent someone from sending messages to a large number of members.

So if I have 9 friends, and I start a conversation with 3 of them on a monday, I can carry those conversations plus 3 more on a Tuesday? and by Wedneday I can have an open message to all of my friends?

Jeeze this is confusing.

Very hardly use  PM's so hardly get them....Oh wait, yes i get PM's sometimes from the mods,  does this mean they are my friends? I'll have a JD and coke please Saru, make it a double.

Hmm. Did not know this. But it does make sense. Though I have yet to get spam troll in PM. Give it time.

I've always deleted PMs just as soon as I'm finished chatting with someone. I always thought the number of active PMs was what counted? Guess I was mistaken.
