After cases involving the US Women's Gymnastics team and Swimming team, now accusations are being filed against the Taekwondo team coaches. These cases have included sex trafficking charges. Scary what's been going on.

Don't believe Reisman at all but Jean Lopez is the Harvey Weinstein of TKD. Women have been accusing him of rape since at least the early 2000s and Team USA always swept it under the rug. The whole "Lopez Family" brand was a big thing for them.

I was shocked.  I've been practicing tkdo for around 10 years and the Lopez family was always touted as a model group. I'm saddened at their besmirching of our sport! And trust me, they do not exemplify the tenants of tkdo!

This is truly disappointing. Note to self: stop saying "nothing shocks me these days". Each time I do, there's a Lopez or a Turpin in the news the next day. At this point, you wonder what they have on Mister Rogers.

The President of USC has now resigned because of allegations against one of the school's doctors. The Olympic gymnastics scandal involved Michigan.

I knew sooner or later it was going to come down to some lighthearted remarks someone might make for them to be a target. It didn't take very long.

In the long run, all this could end up discrediting any true accusations being made. At least Weinstein has been charged.
