Harry Potter Is Not a Gateway to the Occult

Indeed it was.

They were debunked decades ago and even most creationists don't support them nowadays.

Yes, let them not believe I will not wait for the confirmation of scientists as their model of the origin of man suits them and they will not rewrite the textbooks. Even the great statues on the island of Easter are attributed to the natives, what can one say about footprints. This conspiracy against the truth of history, against truth and man. Who does not know his past, does not know the destiny because on the rising line of evolution we again rediscover what was in the past races but already consciously and not as a gift of Nature.

Can you provide factual evidence to support your position?

It still will not convince you because all sources are religious or esoteric (science does not stick to it and refutes everything). And I know your point of view:

I don't care about religion. It's a mental virus that's ruining the world.

My goodness... this thread has certainly derailed quite a bit from the Harry Potter books. As interesting as this derailing may be, lets all get back on topic folks.

Love Harry Potter myself. I think most Catholics secretly like Harry Potter too, but they can't admit to it.

The level of Christ is too much because spiritual people do not need sticks to perform some kind of action, but magicians are needed because they can not instantly manifest their power with their consciousness.

Christians can not believe in magic, however it works. Just christianity does not want to mess with magic  because it's easy to go wrong. The magic of the stick works, here as an excerpt as stolen items were found:

  Reveal hidden contents

Some brahmin was robbed. Despite all his efforts, he could not find a thief or things. Then he decided to resort to the fortune, known in Assam under the name of Huka-Mella or "self-propelled stick." He sent for a well-known in the city sorcerer named Mahidhar, who came to his house and, carving a bamboo stick in place, stood on the threshold of the house and began to wait for passers-by. At the same time, a commissioner's scribe, a certain Rohnar, was walking along the street. He called him and, declaring what was the matter, asked if he wanted to help the Brahmin find his stolen things. Rohnar agreed and immediately picked up a stick, over which Mahidhar had just uttered a series of spells and mantras ...

No sooner had Rohnar touched the bamboo, as if some force possessed him. He started running, screaming that the stick had grown to his hand and that she was dragging him. Behind him, of course, ran a large crowd and a robbed brahmin. Having run to a small tank (standing water in a large tank), Rohnar directly jabbed a cane into the shallow water and said: "Dig here." After lowering the water, they began to dig and found part of the stolen silver things. Encouraged by success, the Brahmin wished to find the rest. Mahidhar read again his incantations over the cane and again put it into the hand of Rohnar. The same scene, the same uncontrollable inclination forward. This time the scribe ran in another direction, to a tree not far from the Brahmin's house.

"Dig here!" He cried to the people.

They began to dig and breaking the ground, found the rest. For this police, probably dissatisfied with such an easy way to find stolen property, in which they did not get anything, arrested Rohnar and escorted him to the police, accusing him of stealing things. He was put in jail for one suspicion and after holding several days beforehand, was taken to court, before the formidable face of the judge, Mr. Triborne. The accused, of course, did not admit. In the presence of the public and the whole court, he told how it was: he said that he passed by the house of the brahmin, whom he did not know, and that he agreed to experience without even believing in it. In any case, he said (and very judiciously), whether he was a kidnapper of stolen things, he certainly would not have gone that street and would not have agreed to become a detective. Then he told that, taking a magic stick in his hand, he lost both times consciousness; that he did not carry a stick, but the stick itself carried him ... and so on. Despite the fact that no one except the police was his accuser, but on the contrary, a huge crowd of people present at the "Hukka-Melle" showed for him, and himself his boss vouched for him, a judge, an ardent materialist, sentenced the unfortunate youth brahmin to prison terms for a year and three weeks!

He appealed to the highest court. But Mr. Letmann Johnson, a new judge, only confirmed the verdict on that wise basis that if he found things without hesitation, then he knew in advance where they are; and if he knew, then there is not the slightest doubt that "he is either a thief or a concealer".

The People of the Blue Mountains by H. P. Blavatsky

I think what they were referring to is the dying and coming back savioresque stuff.

It's in other movies, too. The Matrix is one of them.

The implication is not that these characters are equated with Christ, but only that it's a Christ-like theme.

Ive never read a Harry Potter book, nor had the interest to watch the movies based upon the novels.

Why do you think I quit magick? All the books were basically the same recycled garbage as before. There's nothing "new" in new age thinking, its useless.

I went through a (very short) period where I found those finbarr books intriguing.  The advertisements for each book made some unbelievable claims about what this or that magick could achieve with only a few items from around the house.  So I tried a few of the rituals and sat back rubbing my hands in high hope of what would come to me.  A month or so later the few books I owned magicked their way via my hands into the wheely bin.  You see, the wish-wash contained inside of them didnt manifest me anything - (slang for nothing : not even a bleeding sausage)

I read the HP books to my daughter when she was a tyke. Watched all the movies with her, and we had some great theoretical discussions about them. She still has the very worn, often re-read hardcover books.

One thing that did remain with me after my limited period of dabbling with such things was a horrid thought - can such booklets let things in or rather, attract negative energies?

I would say ideas rather than 'energies'. If seems for the most part, to be a mind game. Those books can help develop a less than optimal mindset.

She twisted Buddhism to her own perspective ( a Western one) and she called my people "The Red Races" and Asians "The Yellow Races" when we are the same people......and oh yeah! Genetics have proven apes are our ancestors and Mu and Atlantis are geologically impossible,

Or did apes come from us? I have reason to believe in the past some entities were doing a lot of genetic manipulation. And we know that genetic engineering is possible.

I don't. I have a brother and aunt who are both doctors who are heavily into genetics and the diseases that are inherited and a stepsister who is a biology professor. Why would a advanced race tamper with us when automation is far superior to get stuff done? and why would they need anything from this planet when a binary system or a stellar nebula is a elemental "gold mine". The resources on Earth are nothing compared to a bigger and busier area of the galaxy. We're "backwater".

All questions I ponder on. Maybe earthlings are easily controlled compared to others. I really don't know.

Naw, my brother specializes in terminal illnesses and genetic defects. He's the director of the largest and most respected pediatric hospital for children who suffer those in P.A. The mere mention of divine or genetic manipulation in people will get you a 1,000 dollar lecture in rabid anger in about 10 minutes. We are the product of environment and chance. :tu:

By the looks of it you're one of the perpetrators attacking history when it doesn't fit your dogma.

Well, I would say that the bible is not a gateway to the occult too... or any religious or sect book. The gateway to the occult would be a scientific proof that something exist beside physics laws.

If you address myths and religions then there is a mention of giants and such mentions of the mass, so this is the current science wants to mislead people but why do you think that this is what I'm trying to squeeze history into my worldview. And instead of trying to figure out the accusations against me and reasonable people find out the truth and do not run into the opponent. It's a pity that only a small number of people are trying to figure it out.

Like I said it is all about dogma. The evidence doesn't support it, so in order to defend your dogmatic myths you must attack and deny the evidence. Flat earthers do it, Creationists do it, you're doing it. You couldn't give a **** about the actual truth.
