Such techniques have been used for many years.

Hitler used to have a sub-sonic drone played before he made a speech, then turned off when he took to the podium, to bring feelings of relief and awe to the crowd.

Has the U.S. government confirmed the Cuba event to be "sonic in origin", as opposed to other causes?

In other words, did our government place acoustic spectrum devices at the Embassy after repeated reports of this phenom and determine it was a "sonic weapon"?

Obviously, something happened. What that something is, I suppose, up to speculation for us civilians.
