The EU is for big business. Businesses who have the money to lobby and influence. By the time people wake up It'll be to late.

The irony being, many (most that I know of) of the most ardent EUphiles - who consider the UK leaving the EU the worst thing that will ever happen in the entire universe, ever -  are also staunchly anti-multinational/big business/globalisation

Strange and conflicting for them. 

Cost of lobbying EU £12,000. That's for one 1 hour session. You need a minimum of six. = £72,000 and your not guaranteed to be successful in lobbying. 

Highlighted in evidence to the House of Commons select Committee. Where a small to medium business owner sat at one end of the table and at the other end was Airbus. Airbus was in favour of the system. But the small business owner interrupted the Airbus CEO, with its okay for you, you can afford £72k. But as a small to medium business I cannot. And that gives airbus a monopoly. As she pointed out it costs more than £72k as you need to factor in her time devoted to organising the lobby meeting and travel expenses and lost earnings as time away from her business. She's estimated the total cost to be £130,000. And she spoke from experience having lobbied and spent £32,000 before having to stop because of the rising cost result lost £32,000+. 

And people wonder why big business love the EU and the majority of Small to medium do not. This is why I keep saying EU good for 6% of  UK businesses. Bad for the other 94%. And that's why our economy is performing the S&M businesses who number 5.3million who have no dealings or trade with the EU are getting ready for Brexit and the ridding of the EU red tape. 

5.4million businesses in the UK. 147,200 trade/deal with the EU.

Interesting, will have to see how that pans out. Note the date listed there - June 7th 2021 - that's the deadline sites will have to implement whatever they need to implement to conform to these new laws (unless Poland manages to win it's complaint case).

It's looking like the MPs from Ireland who voted for it are likely going to be loosing their seats. Green party has won a lot of support, might be due to the David Attenborough Effect?

It won't change anything unless the EU holds another vote on it.

But the newly elected MEPs might be more open to the idea of supporting Poland's case.
