I was so excited when he joined Van Halen.   I thought they would rock hard.   I was 15 or 16 at the time.   Sammy and Eddie were both great guitarists.   I was so disappointed.

Some of their music was good, it just wasn't what it could have been.   They could have put all other rock bands to shame.   They chose to go pop at the wrong time.
