And it looks like his line of defence is going to be along the lines of 'I was not biased against Trump because he was Republican or for any personal reason. I was biased against Trump because I knew he was compromised by Russia and it was a matter of national security'. How could be be talking about stopping Trump and have the reason of the Russians, when he believed there was probably no direct connection. I don't buy that reasoning, and neither will many of the Senators.
