Was that at a different message board, Harry? Historum? I can't find a thread by that name here.

Yes, it was at Historum. Long thread though. Still the second longest thread on Historum even though the mods shut it down almost a year ago.

Between myself, John, and Hanslune there are crank smiting gems on every page.

Oh, that one. The thread cladking took over for so many pages until the Mods booted him out.

Good times.  A time I considered to be the Golden Age of online history forums.

Wow, that's an oldie. And it was relying on some tired old fringe flop. I don't think I was involved in that one, but you did a good job in there, Harte. You shredded Ozi.

I see Ozi stuck around about a year longer and then was banned. Don't know the backstory there.

Some of the responses in this thread are epic. I guess that guy Questfortruth is right about one thing some people are just stupid.

Every one here knows that I am open to the possibility that an ancient race of giants might have once existed.

With that being said...the OP in the linked thread apparently has difficulty in differentiating the concepts of monumental architecture with a purely hypothetical race of men. The fact that he writes at a fourth grade level also isn't doing him any favors.

You can find the pic I addressed at a large number of pro-giant websites. It always stuck me as hilarious they would use such a pic, for the reasons I gave in that post.

Does anyone know if Dan Raleigh's "Egyptian sattelites and Big Fat Lying Pharaohs thread" from last summer is still around?

I had some real zingers there, but I think Sesh deleted the thread after the OP disappeared.

Finally, someone follows the theme of the thread.

You all should post your own slams. I'm not the only ******* here, just the biggest one.
