Why are the followers of Roerich today evil and watchful?

The world through culture. Banner of peace.  These are the main principles of the spiritual heritage of the Russian and American artist Nicholas Roerich. But since 2014 these principles in Russia have radically changed. On the first place in the Roerich society came out nationalism, racism, eugenics, militarism, absolute paranoid closeness. No art, no science, no writers and researchers. This is a total taboo in the contemporary Roerich and occult society of Russia. A strange mystery: the great Roerich always painted wonderful pictures, he wrote spiritual poetry, prose, research. He bequeathed to us a great idea: the world through culture. His painting "Madonna Oriflamme with the banner of peace" hangs in the Roerich Museum in New York.

Unfortunately, in the Russian Roerich society today ... creativity is prohibited. You tell me: this is nonsense of the X-Files, but it's a fact. Nicholas Roerich never hid his ashrams: remember his famous station in the Kullu Valley, his skyscraper in New York. But today the followers of Roerich in Russia ... carefully hide their ashrams. Why? An incredible fact: Roerich's followers in Russia today ... are very fond of Stalin, Beria, the NKVD, they respect their methods and hate the democratic opposition! The Roerich societies of Russia have, since 2012, destroyed their scientific archives about paranormal phenomena, and have subjected them to anathema of scientific and historical research. Why? This is a huge mystery, this is a topic for discussion in your West. Probably, this is an initiated campaign against the Russian liberal intelligentsia. But why inside the spiritual societies? Is this a new phase of schism?

And the boomerang flew back. The central museum named after Roerich in Moscow was defeated. Paintings removed, property described. The followers of Roerich licked the ass of power ?! And this power struck the Roerich Museum. It was in 2017. But patriotic idiocy in the Roerich society flared up today very much. This error did not stop them. Mass autohypnosis is a terrible, dangerous force. We must choose: the rich side of darkness or the poor, but the spiritual side of creativity and democracy.

I'm curious: what is the current situation with the followers of Roerich in the West, in the US and Europe? Identical or not?

 I worked on the Henry Hudson celebration and the Manhattan Indian display at the Museum of New York and I never even paid attention. I also never heard of him or this flag from my stepsister who's a big time Peacenik.

 So.  Henry must be who the Hudson was named after ? I don't know much about him either.

Roerich is the legendary Trans-Himalayan expedition to Shambhala. 1937. He sought Shambhala and he saw a UFO over the Himalayas. His book Heart of Asia and Shambhala Shining. Therefore, I am very surprised by the situation with today's followers of Roerich in Russia. They betrayed Roerich's ideas.  Nicholas Roerich is a follower of Elena Blavatsky. Socialist cosmic theosophy.

I'm not too familiar with the history of Theosophy. Just it's theology.

It does not surprise me at all.

There seems to be a rise in totalitarianism and/or the acceptance of it all over the world. 

The acceptance is probably due to the fact that there has been an exceptional propaganda campaign.
