Which extinct animal would you welcome

If you could choose a part of your country to be home to an extinct animal that has been resurrected, which animal would you choose?

I wonder if the dodo could thrive in parts of Florida.

I want the Paraceratherium back. I don't care where it lives I just want it back. Giant rhino-giraffe-elephant thing

When I was a kid I loved reading those "science" books for kids. And I had a very vivid dream about my book about Ancient China having a picture of a Paraceratherium being presented to a Chinese Emperor, and for a while I was convinced that those animals might have made it into historical times. but turns out I just mis-remembered an illustration about a giraffe being presented to the emperor...

The Thyalcine is a close second.

Stiff

Sabre tooth tiger, although I wouldn't want to get too close to one.

I would bring back the Wooly Mammoth, to see if they are frightened of mice.

I was thinking of the dodo, in part because its name is so hilarious.

But also because I think it would be fairly harmless.

I want to change my answer

I want one of the australopithicens. Preferably afarensis, but I'd settle for any of them.

Kittens Are Jerks

I would kill to have Psittacosaurus as a pet. It's the cutest little thing ever.

Yes, very similar climate and topography, the only difference is the vegetation, but that wouldn't affect the tiger that much I wouldn't have thought.

Would there be enough prey for them?

I would think that the mammoth would be a good one for Canadians to want.

It seems like the most popular are predators, which could be a problem.

Mine's a little predator though, no harm to anyone. And prey wise there'd be plenty here, well maybe, because the truth is really thatwe haven't got a bloody clue what the hell they ate or were up to really.

i would guess rabbit and squirrel would be a good choice.   I could use a couple around to alleviate my raccoon problem.  I have had to dispose of 7 so far this year and I've only set my trap 10 times.

Homo Neanderthalis :)

Make a change to live on a planet with some half intelligent humans :D

Or, just T-Rex.   I can just see them roaming the English countryside :)
