A few days before President Trump heads to the U.K. to meet the queen and the prime minister, a BBC investigative program has revealed fresh allegations of sexually inappropriate actions by Trump during the 1980s and 1990s, comparing him to a “predator” at parties with girls as young as 14.

The report featured Monday on the BBC Panorama investigative documentary series, entitled “Trump: Is the president a sex pest?” included testimony from two women who said they encountered Trump at parties during his time as a real estate magnate and operator of beauty pageants.

Trump’s behavior toward younger women was described by a man who attended the same parties as like that of a “predator.”

One of the women, Barbara Pilling, said she met Trump at a party in New York in the late 1980s while she was a young model. She alleged that then-businessman Trump asked her how old she was and approved when she said she was 17, allegedly responding: “Oh, great. So you're not too old and not too young. That's just great.”

Trump:

“Before a show, I’ll go backstage and everyone’s getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it,” he said. “You know, I’m inspecting because I want to make sure that everything is good.”

“You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody okay?’” he continued. “And you see these incredible looking women, and so, I sort of get away with things like that.”

As I remarked when acute recommended it, it didn't seem to do Saint Jack Kennedy much harm, although of course he did have the inestimable advantage of being martyred by, well, my money's on LBJ, before it could become grubby.

This is the thing that does my head in the most about Trump. People are just willing to drop their morals just because the guy in charge says stuff they like.

Any time I post anything at all about Trump now, I'm just hit with ad hominem replies about how I'm obsessed and whatnot. The above would seem to be a continuation of that.

It fries my brain. When that tape of Trump bragging was released a month before the election I was astounded by the response on here. So many people clamoured to make excuses for him. An admitted and known predator.

So I think you're right. Morals do go right out the window when it comes to Trump. Politics in the US is like a religion.

Well if the left didn't already lie, and went so far as to pay women to lie about him sexually assaulting them, maybe we'd hear it. This is the boy who cried wolf. Again.

You could draw up a list as long as your arm of the inappropriate things Trump has said, done or is alleged to have done - things that just one or two of would have sunk a nominee a decade ago - and yet his supporters don't care. When your faith in a politician is that unshakable, you're on really dangerous moral ground.

The tape only proved what everyone already knew. That women throw themselves at rich men.

Considering where this country was headed by the folks who speak politely, you are damn straight. I'll take Trump over them any day of the week.

The accusation about Summer Zervos remains unproven, unless you want to address this with hitherto unknown proof.

I'm not sure that constitutes "the left lying and paying women to lie". I'm also not sure it excuses the torrent of filth, lies, racism and sexism that pours out of his head every time anyone is paying attention.

Again - you cannot have faith in a leader that it that unshakable. It's just plain dangerous.

So that’s what you have to prove it, an unproven accusation? A accusation that never bothered to come up till he was running for president? All this knowing the press was paying women to make accusations.

Racism? Sexism? WTH are you talking about? Sorry but the left has been calling everyone who thinks differently that for some time now. And have become so unhinged that they call us Nazis now.

My faith in him is nowhere near unshakable. If the TPP ends up back on the table, I’m out. If we end up paying hundreds of billions to lose millions of jobs will the the Paris accord, I’m done. If he moves towards globalism at all, I’d drop him like a hot stone.

Unfortunately

Honestly, I'm not a huge supporter of Trump although he has garnered some respect from me because of his actions on a global level. I used to think he was a bigot and a fool but over time he has shown me that although I'm not entirely incorrect in some ways, I certainly don't have all the pieces of the puzzle yet.

Until someone calls rape and actually means it (has a case) Trump's 'predator-like' speech patterns 30-40 years ago are entirely irrelevant. Blame him for things he's done, not people's opinions of him in the past. I'm against unfounded defamation, it's negative and unnecessary. ^_^

You mean like this?

Katie Johnson alleges that at age 13 she was hired by Trump's long time friend and person known to throw underage sex parties, Epstein, that Trump beat and raped her.

Forgive me for not giving these reports much attention.   I don't have time to sort through the facts and fiction that have been reported about him.   Convictions would be different, but we all know that the media has pushed stories that are not true about him.

I don't like Trump.   In fact, I think he is an idiot in many ways and things he does.   Unfortunately, when an election gave me 2 choices and 1 was Hillary, I chose Trump.   Do those of you who voted for Hillary feel good about voting for an enabler of a womanizing man?  Both sides looked past their candidates misdeeds.

I'll have to watch the video tomorrow after work, but if there was definitive evidence of such a thing then yes of course it should be treated seriously. At the present moment, having not seen the video, I would think that if there was evidence the case would be all over everything. You would be surprised how ready the media outside of America is ready to blast Trump for any small hiccups. I feel like an event like this would be bigger if it wasn't just based on someone's word.

Here's the thing; President Trump's former behaviour towards women was widely (some may even say gleefully) reported during the campaign. There doesn't appear to be anything new in this BBC report (not according to the summary, anyway).

And yet, people voted for him ANYWAY, and he became President of the United States of America. This drives liberals absolutely apoplectic with fury. :D

One issue that the article DOES raise is the court case, in which Summer Zervos is suing the President for defamation over his rebuttal of her accusation of sexually inappropriate behaviour towards her. I will be following this one with great interest :)

I don't really understand what you're trying to say here. As far as I can tell, and I may be wrong, there is only one claim of "women being paid off", and it was from an utterly unsubstantiated source.

Happy to be corrected, but this isn't the same as "the left paying women to lie".

Racism?

In 2017, Trump claimed that Haitian migrants "all have AIDS" and that visiting Nigerians would never want to "go back to their huts in Africa" after seeing America. He also called for less immigration from Haiti and "more from Norway".

Trump called Haiti and African countries "sh*tholes".

In the late 80s, Trump took out full page ads in NY papers asking for the death penalty for black youths accused of raping a white woman. He doubled down on this even as recently as 2016, more than 10 after the suspects were cleared through DNA evidence. The city settled with the defendants after they were acquitted, but Trump claimed "settlement does not equal innocence" - even after someone else had confessed to the crime.

Trump was vocal about not wanting black people working at his casinos. According to a casino manager that worked for him, Trump said "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks.” Ex casino employees have gone on record saying that black employees were removed from casino floors when Trump and his wife were doing the rounds.

He has repeatedly, and unapologetically, retweeted tweets by known white nationalists.

He made Steve Bannon his chief strategist. This is at the time that Breitbart ran a regular column called "Black Crime".

Trump endorsed Roy Moore, who has been vocal in his support of slavery and claimed an African America Muslim shouldn't sit in Congress.

Trump pardons and praises Joe Arpaio, who racially profiled Latinos.

The right wing extremists who covered themselves in swastikas and Nordic symbols and chanted "Jew will not replace us" had, according to Trump, "very fine people" among their numbers.

In the 1970s his real estate business was proven by Nixon's government to be discriminating against black tenants, and was sued twice by the government for this. They used a the code of C for "coloured" on the tenant's application forms so they knew to reject them.

Trump refused to disavow support from David Duke.

In the 1990s, Trump claimed that many Native Americans "fake their ancestry" in order to gain land for reservations.

Trump referred to an Hispanic Miss Universe as "Miss Housekeeping".

Trump has repeatedly referred to Elizabeth Warren as "Pocahontas" and claimed that she has used her Native American ancestry to secure employment.

Trump has repeated called Mexicans "criminals" and "rapists" and asked for a total ban on Muslims entering the states, even American citizens who were visiting abroad.

Trump repeated false claims by white nationalists about crime rates in black and Hispanic populations, claiming that black people are primarily responsible for the murder rates of white people.

Trump has repeatedly accused black people (especially athletes) of being "lazy" and "unpatriotic".

Trump claimed a ruling against Trump Universities was invalid because the judge had "Mexican heritage".

Sexism?

He claimed that he could sexually assault a woman just because of who he is - "And when you’re a star, they let you do it, you can do anything… grab them by the p*ssy.”

When being interview for Maximum Golf magazine, he stated “there is nothing in the world like first-rate p*ssy” as a young lady entered the room.

Trump has signed broad regulation preventing women in developing countries from getting access to birth control.

He claimed that the 20,000 plus sexual assaults in the military were because they "put men and women together".

On the Howard Stern show he claimed that a woman "who is very flat-chested is very hard to be a 10."

Of a female primary campaign opponent, Trump said "Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”

He repeatedly refers to female opponents as "unattractive" or "bimbos".

He claimed women who have abortions should be punished, and called them "disgusting" for breast feeding.

He claimed that Heidi Klum was "no longer a 10" because she had aged and that Kim Kardashian didn't have "a good body" but did have "a fat ass".

Of Angelina Jolie he said "She's been with so many guys she makes me look like a baby, OK, and, I just don't even find her attractive."

He claimed Megyn Kelly had "blood coming out of her wherever" when he didn't like her line of questioning during the presidential campaign.

I will remain permanently in the dark about you think this is a good thing. It's the same as "I voted for him because people hate him". Since when was it a good thing that people voted for a sexist, racist child who people hate?

This is not a good thing.
