Follow me here...John is having a vision of things to come...why are we even discussing 666? Because...it started showing up frequently that's why! And why did it start showing up frequently? Because we live in an age where everything is counted...and in every series of 1000 there is a 666. The Mark of the Beast is not 666...the Mark is the number we all have agreed already to take. We all have a number...one you cannot give back. That is why he said everyone took the mark..rich, poor, free, slave.
