Still Waters Posted July 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2018 It seems just about everyone has been launching a flying car lately, but the Kitty Hawk Flyer stands out for one big reason: it’s here today. Specifically, it’s in Las Vegas, flying over a big lake. This is where Kitty Hawk - a company owned by Google co-founder Larry Page - has set up a small hangar and training facility. It’s where new flyers learn the ropes, a process that currently takes a mere 90 minutes. Most of it is spent rehearsing what happens if something were to go wrong. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-44881678
'Walt' E. Kurtz Posted July 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2018 I believe the first flying car was made in the 50s and called aerocar in order to fly it had to be converted into an aircraft. Only five was made though.

The market will be Asian and African primarily. Those are the only people on the planet that tend to weigh less than 200 lbs JK, of course...
