The TRUTH is he makes baseless claims for which he wants to be unaccountable for.

perhaps those gleefully supporting the attacks and on line (etc) oppression of Alex Jones will enjoy the Chinese Style
totalitarianism that could be just round the corner if the One World Dictatorship agenda proceeds unabated..

Alex and Infowars are the 'tip of the spear' and a test case for what could be in store for everyone down the line..

quote from link above...

"Under the guise of creating a utopia, China is now one of the most authoritarian and liberty bereft societies on the planet. The Chinese defend the system as a vehicle to “maintain stability” and "strengthen sincerity.” In reality, China views control over its population paramount to liberty.

It’s tempting to think this government overreach is purely reserved to China, after all they did just forfeit significant freedom by electing Xi Jinping president for life. This is incorrect thinking.

The rest of the world is steps away from trailing the Chinese into a surveillance state.

The attitudes are already in place. The U.K. fines and even imprisons people for hate speech or speech deemed abhorrent to the prevailing norms of society. The U.S. is not far behind. Last week, a Manhattan judge ruled a bar can toss Trump supporters for their political viewpoints. A recent proliferation of politically motivated boycotts seeks to punish "bad" viewpoints; protesters are eager to shout down incorrect speech. In this political climate, it’s not difficult to imagine businesses or the government assessing social benefit or worth based upon a variety of factors including political speech.

With incredible data collection, the plumbing is already in place for such a system to take hold. Our tech companies catalogue large quantities of data on everyone."

If a tv show gets cancelled is it violating free speech? Alex isn't owed a platform by anyone or any company. He does still have two websites up and running which can host all of his content, he just has to foot the bill himself. That isn't censorship its capitalism.

Rich and / or powerful people have always conspired together for their own benefit or beliefs...

That doesn't make it acceptable or right... and this new and insidious form of censorship working
through monopolies of Internet companies that have lured people in by presenting themselves as
a Market Place of Ideas etc ... then by stealth are using censorship for social engineering and political
gain... is a backward step when it comes to democracy and freedom of speech / thought...

Alex Jones is just one target / victim of the censorship (MInd Control)... but he's a very prominent
figure with millions of supporters and listeners world wide.. and he isn't going down without a fight...

Internet censorship

Meanwhile, Alex Jones has called the move by tech companies the start of a new era of Internet censorship. In a video message directed to his followers, Alex says that anyone and everyone who supports Trump or conservative values are at threat of a Chinese-style censorship.

“Apple has officially moved to China and is letting the government basically run Apple; and that, of course, is iTunes. Google is building a huge censorship search engine for them [China] and whistleblowers from inside Google say they’re preparing to use it here in America. In fact, they’re beta testing different parts of the system for China on American conservatives, nationalists, and Trump supporters,” Alex says in a Twitter message.

Many Internet activists have also opposed the decision taken by Apple and other tech companies, calling it immature and an attack against freedom of speech. They fear that such censorship will just go on to fracture the open nature of the Internet into clusters of closed Internet groups where people solely seek information that aligns with their values.

To avoid this, companies like Apple, Facebook, and Google need to realize the basics of a liberal society that they proclaim to uphold — even if you don’t like what your opponent says, you have to ensure that you allow your opponent to say whatever they want. By censoringInfoWars, these tech companies have literally broken the basic foundation of a liberal society.

Except they aren't monopolies and anyone who wants access to his content can easily find it with out any issues. So it isn't censorship, its business. In fact its so free Alex can start his own platform, start his own search engine, whatever he so chooses, it will again be on his dime and not on another companies dime.

no it isn't JUST business.... it's political...an attack on democracy and free speech and a kind of election rigging..

Alex Jones and Infowars brought  hundreds of millions of viewers to the various sites over time....
which would have boosted their advertising revenue a lot.... but that's not what this is all about..
it's about controlling what people see and hear on the biggest communication platforms...

there are calls for him to be banned from the internet completely... if this first stage of censorship
gets enough support then that could be the next step further down the line...

Can people, anyone still see, read and watch his content? Yes. He may be saying people want him "banned from the internet completely" and he is right some of us do, some don't. Either way it will never happen, and it isn't even happening now. As for those platforms making money off him, sure yes they did, they are businesses not charities. Once he violated their rules multiple times, they had every right to kick him off. He had a lot of chances and he kept pushing the limits. In all actuality he is MORE free being off those platforms than he was being on them. They made him somewhat accountable but now he can go as far as he likes on his own websites. You cannot tell me his "followers" cannot type in Infowars or Prisonplanet and not have his sites pop up in seconds, they have just as free access as they did before. Alex can afford it he just doesn't want to.

A fabricated excuse? They have terms of service and he violated them multiple times. If a tv news anchor or reporter (which is what Alex purports to be but isn't) had made threatening statements, or perpetuated children weren't killed at Sandy Hook, how long would they be left on air? These platforms are businesses and they also see Alex is now headed to court to face those families his conspiracy theories hurt. Businesses have liability issues and he is a huge one. If for no other reason than to cover their own liability by providing him a platform to spew his content. Anti Alex Jones "propaganda" is just the truth, actual facts. Look I get it people who listen to Alex want to feel special, like they know something the rest of us "sheeple" are too blind to see. That's the idea, make people believe conspiracy theories which has little or no basis in reality. In Alex's case its for the money and attention. He said it was an act, if he says so why don't you believe him?

"Free Speech" in no way obligates an outside financial vendor to maintain any connection.

PayPal no longer desires to be associated with Alex Jones.

It's within the full rights of PayPal to do so. Simple as that.

I don't get it? How long exactly have you been listening or following Alex? I started hearing his appearances on Coast to Coast AM in the mid 90's, when he was trespassing on Bohemian Grove and talking about FEMA camps. See funny thing, over time it was not difficult to notice his dire warnings and predictions didn't happen. His fear mongering turned out quite literally to be just that with no basis in facts. Over and over again and with increasing theatrics, and he realized it made more money the more he put on a show. And in the end that is really all it is, fakery, made up stories to get people disbelieving reality and believing him. Not much different than tv evangelists and cult leaders. His apoplectic fits of rage and tears over whatever fake story he is selling aren't any more real than conspiracies he peddles. Over the 20 years plus I watched him he hasn't come up with better conspiracies, he has just honed his act, which I'll give him has been mighty lucrative. I just hope he loses every penny to damages in his case for the Sandy Hook parents.

Why don't they just turn off his water and electricity while they are at it? He can dig his own well, and make some solar panels with his bare hands. It is sick how quickly people side with tyrannical tactics. All they gotta do is demonize said person, and the crowd loves stripping them of everything they have built.

Just remember conservatives who defend this, they might be coming for you last, but they are coming for you. So keep supporting this madness.

So now it's tyrannical to refuse service to a customer?

Precisely what is the difference between YouTube and a bakery? And where exactly is the line?

PayPal is an "optional financial service"

There is ZERO obligation to continue service, as opposed to, say, Federal Reserve notes (cash).

So, PayPal is within all full rights.

Similarly, VISA or MASTERCARD can refuse participation without legal redress.

To make it even more clear...

"Federal Reserve notes (cash) are Congressionally considered to be "legal tender for all debts, public or private"

Optional financial instruments, such as credit/debit cards, do not enjoy this protective distinction.
