Agreed. There's just something gripping about that song when Nilsson sings it. Even Mariah Carey's captivating vocals don't quite pip it for me on her version (which is damn good in it's own right).

I have to preface this with I am a NIN fan and a Johnny Cash fan, but it was a NIN song first. Trent wrote it.

That said, if anyone had to cover it, thankfully, it was Johnny Cash because it is awesome in its own right.

Agreed completely; though my heart goes out to Badfinger as a band, they had a shocking hard time..
