This woman was quite clearly out of her depth.

A fully-qualified industry-certificated Furniture Priest would have removed the flammable batteries from the TV remote down the back of the couch.

Haha...I think our couch must be possessed too. When the remote gets lost...I know the couch has eaten it :P..

Anyone with half a brain has their demonic sofa professionally de-farted before a controlled fiery exorcism.

This woman's an idiot!

But what if they were demon farts? That's why she should of called a professional.

I had to attend 4 classes and get a OSHA certificate to cleanse sofas.  Sofa exorcisms are like defusing IEDs. Anything can happen.

She could've protected her couch from satanic possession (and demon farts) by leaving the plastic cover on when she bought it.

Some people, eh? :td:

JolYnn Winn was convinced that the devil had taken up residence in her settee.

The same thing has happened with my love seat.  Let me assure you it can be quite inconvenient at times.

Happened to me once. I told Satan he could sleep on the couch if he drank too much, but come daybreak he needs to get on home.

Winn had been taken to a local hospital for treatment before investigators arrived at the scene.

Hospital? She should have been taken to the asylum for treatment.

She told the fire fighters at the scene she had set the couch on fire in order to rid her home of the demon.

If she thought the devil was in her trailer, then why try to get rid of it with fire? I thought the devil loves a bit of fire.

Well her trailer is now well and truly trailer trash now.

It's crazy!  She may as well give Satan a pair of cosy slippers, a newspaper and a beer, a monogrammed dressing gown, and say "Make yourself at home!"

Thing is, if you destroy it they will just posses a nearby piece of furniture, such as a recliner. Guy at the office found Baphomet in a love seat and someone two counties over found Yog-Sothoth in a credenza (he shut the door just in the nick of time.) Best thing is to just leave them be.

What an idiot. I’m glad she was arrested and jailed. She nearly killed herself.

Doubt she would have had insurance too, or that it would cover a deliberately lit fire.

I really wish she would have shown up on here.

I could have just told her to do the LBRP.

I hope there are no children involved. Not because I care about children, but because clearly this person shouldn't be passing on her DNA and ideology to the future.

Yes, there's no doubt tho, that she obviously suffers a form of mental illness.

She may have been too far gone, keep it in the bank for someone else.
