Also, I listened to a naval officer of one of the MANY ships that witnessed and filmed the tic-tac UFO (on Coast to Coast). Among the many things he said and the many call-in question he answered, he said, and I quote, "At one point, the sky rained tic tac UFOs", so it was FAR from one unit.

Can you please provide a link to the above along with a time stamp?

I have searched a bit and can’t find that quote?

"Timothy, oh Timothy..." - so the song goes.

Oh, Tim, should I reply to you? I heard through the grapevine you are a baby LOL   j/k

Seriously, Tim, all Coast to Coast radio shows are in archives. You can get to them all but at the cost of a membership fee. I'm sure it's an easy title to find and is dated likely around summer 2018. Good luck with it..

Haha, yes, you saw that hey?

Just that I thought I would be able to find that quote easily, I have heard and found similar things obviously.

You are asking me to look through archives for  something you said is a direct quote, but I’m not convinced it is right now. Would help your argument if it is, hurt it if not.

Burden of proof and all that... There’s no way you can provide a link?

Edit: And just to add: The main reason I ask is because I want to know the context to the quote. Whether it is a direct quote or not is a different story. But if it was on Coast to Coast, we’ll, they obviously get a bit excited at times.

Edit 2: @johncbdg, let us know if you want to take this discussion out of your thread. Bit off topic.

So, you don't want to get into this, and then you proceed to..  Makes about as much sense as everything else you've posted.

I listened to the USAF pilot who filmed the first one and who relayed his story - apparently with military approval, to the audience as he did to his family ten years earlier. I am *surely* going to rely more on the man who took the vid than I will anything you have to say, inre, "What the pilot REALLY saw".

Which vid was that, ie the one you think backs up the story?  I think you might be so far out of your depth here, it is going to get ugly.  CITE the stuff you are claiming, otherwise your waffle is absolutely useless.  Frankly I think you use this tactic, over and over, precisely because you don't want people to actually look into what you are claiming as you know that will go badly for you...

I think it's time that you were forced to change your approach, EoT.  It's not just me asking for you to CITE the stuff you claim, so:

CITE your claims.

If you don't, I'll just post the same request over and over until you do.

CITE this claim, as timothy has also requested.

That's what genuine posters do.

That is the most pathetic post I've seen in a while....  No, you do NOT get to make claims and then handwave it off so the responsibility lies with the reader.  CITE IT.

What a lazy piece of work you are - shame on you.

Timothy, I'll search for a link but it is likely not to be in text because the audio is copyrighted material. And I will let you know later. Tim, I just want you to know that I don't do the "go fetch" thing for anti ufo-ers, but you seem objective.

And I will try to set the context up. The naval officer was there to only talk about that explosive incident of his convoy of ships encountering the many tic tacs that led to the vid. That's it. I am not sure if he used the term UFO but he clearly did say, "At one point, the sky rained tic tacs". And I'll remember that til the day I die. And although some get a little a little excited on that show as you put it, this officer seemed terse, to the point, a bit stoic, cooperative (except for confidential materials), and quite well spoken and knowledgeable.

Mo' later.

Some of the highlights to the Day interview for those that don't want to listen for 39 minutes:

- well over 100 sightings over several days with multiple tic tacs each. Never a sighting with only one tic tac, as witnessed and collaborated on by many on several ships.

- Day is not the only officer in that Nimitz convoy that have come forward to the media, he himself is a follow up to yet another spokesperson

- Crafts fell from 80k feet down to 50 feet

- At one point, a jet from the Nimitz was "engaged", however harmlessly.

Enjoy

PS: Timothy, I found the audio in the first link of the first Bing search. HuH? LOL! :D

Here's a little more - interestingly, EoT didn't quote all of what Kevin Day has said...  I'd suggest a visit here:

http://www.jasoncolavito.com/blog/nimitz-carrier-group-ufo-witness-claims-seeing-tic-tac-craft-gave-him-advanced-cognition-and-apocalyptic-dreams

where you'll find..

Quote

Day claims that he wrote about the incident in 2008 in a short story entitled “The See’r” (sic) in his collection Sailors Anthology Book’s I and II (sic).  In a recent interview ... Day said that “writing it as fiction provided me a way of attempting to describe the very nature of what we had encountered. To capture the weirdness of it.

...the mixing of fact and fiction muddies the waters. They may speak to emotional truths, but they are worthless as factual reports... the more Day talks, the less reliable he becomes. As he speaks, we learn that he displays signs frequently associated with fantasy prone personalities. He claims:
"The dreams I began to have in 2008 can be loosely described as eschatological; world-wide disasters, comets causing tsunamis, epic floods, earthquakes, plane crashes, (and) end of the world scenarios.... remembering the dream surfaces other real memories..."

I will await, likely in vain, proof that Day’s visions have any reality outside of his own mind...

So, we have a fantasist who admits the story is fictionalised and get's his dreams mixed up with reality, and who can't provide a shred of evidence that this is anything but a wild story and a money grabbing scam...

Why didn't / don't the scammers at "To The Stars" post the logs and radar data?  After all, De Longe and Elizondo and his crack team who are pushing this baloney have access to confidential files, so they tell us...

More on this tragic debacle - a debacle symbolic of the death of UFOlogy may be found here:

12 months have now passed, during which time everything this group has presented has been shown to be NOT in any way indicative of ET, or even advanced tech...  but they've collected a lot of funds from the gullible...

Okay; so all this guy witnessed first hand were his radar returns?

Yes, he said that quote, but he didn’t actually witness anything first hand.he never says he does.

This is why context is important. He brings nothing more than his opinion.

Tim I agree he never says he saw it first hand, but  Day never says he didn't.

COAST TO COAST AM - June 17 2018 - TIC TAC UFO INCIDENTS - Bing video

In there is yet another interview with a Nimitz sailor and he states unequivocally he SAW the UFO. And we know Fravor chased one.

Tim, you're looking for excuses. It's crystal clear this all originated from the US Dept. of Defense. You want to call them BS Artists, there is nothing I can do. The US dept of def. is far less impeachable than blog sites that you people often use to "debunk" the witnesses.

Please don’t misrepresent my opinion. If you’re quoting me, please reference what I’ve said. Don’t add your grey to my black and white.

You've posted another link; I don’t have time to view it unless you address specifically what you want me to be looking at. Time stamp for that bit please? Again, context is the important thing with this stuff...

—————

You say: ‘Day never says he didn’t’ (see it first hand).

But from your linked video, he says (@ ~26:50): ‘And, and again I, I didn’t see (it?) with my own eyes. So I kinda have to go on the um, ah, post encounter reports from other, from other sailors’.

So, what should I make of your claim that he never says he didn’t?

—————

Edit: Is Day the person who said the original quote you posted? Just clarifying, as I don’t know their names...

Try this one. The guys name is Trevor, an eyewitness to the events. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=Nimitz+Tic+Tac+UFO&&view=detail&mid=F71A0ED32DAE327097B9F71A0ED32DAE327097B9&&FORM=VRDGAR

Tim, you have a certain problem with Day having seen UFO's only by radar. What if it was the other way around... he saw them with his eyes but he had no radar evidence to back him? It can go on and on like that. The Nimitz radar can track a golf ball from 100 miles. You can trust those eyes, they don't lie.

I posted a vid of the cockpit view of Fravar engaging the UFO. it was released by the Dept. of Def. It was deleted for remarks I made in that post. It of course proves what he said in his FOX news interview. The information all originated from Dept. of Defense. It went to such news agencies as New York Times, BBC, and FOXNews.

Tim, if you don't trust them, what can I say? You could have told me not to bother because you would never believe anybody no matter what in a support for UFO's. Remember what I told you long ago...? I don't like to do "go fetch" for a anti UFOers. And now  you know why.

As George Carlin would say, "Peace, Love, Dove"

@Earl.Of.Trumps, (unable to edit prior post due to timeout):

From your most recent link; 'My first name is Trevor, I will not disclose my last name'.

Then he proceeds to tell his story, avoiding any facts which are able to be checked. He could be anyone, nothing he says confirms he is not just someone with a bit of knowledge... (Unless there's anything you're leaving out?).

Edit: @johncbdg, just the moon through clouds. I can see what you're referring to. But it's nothing abnormal.

CNN version of Fravor cockpit video of engagement

BBC VErsion of Fravor cockpit vid of engagement

Tim, that link I gave you earlier for Coast to Coast has these link and TONS of links like these. The evidences were declassified and released by the US government and they are incontrovertible. If you choose to believe otherwise, that is your prerogative. Have a good one!

Tim, lets be fair. I have put up several links to show strong evidence of a UFO event, evidence that was made available by - and with full blessings of, the United States government. If you prefer to think that all self proclaimed witnesses are lying, that's your prerogative. People in here think that Pilot Fravor is a money grubbing huckster, too, despite the chase vid. What can I say???

Now, we know that the there are 6,000 men aboard the USS Nimitz alone, many of whom had to be on deck because we know that jets were scrambled by the Nimitz (Fravor). So, if you truly believe in your heart that "nobody saw anything", you go right ahead. Over 100 multi UFO sightings were made in a 6 day period. You'll never in your wildest day convince me that "nobody saw nothing", Ok? Trevor won't give his last name.. Like this is some kind of proof of something?

To this day, no member of the Nimitz and no person in American government has come forth to say that the American people were misled by spoofers. It's tacit approval by the American government, but yet again, an excellent form of evidence that contributes to the *big* picture.

UFO's are a fact.

Have a good one, Tim.

Shutting down threads is their favorite hobby, although I do not pinpoint Tim or any one poster in here. And fear..? I agree. That is what fuels them. At least it explains the uncalled for nasty attacks an UFO-er endures. Fear may also explain why the people that are absolutely unshakeable in their non belief in UFO's can't WAIT to get into every UFO thread there is. This is as odd to me as an atheist going into every thread in the Christian boards to essentially say "God does not exist". Very strange behavior. They are not here to debate evidences. they are here to pontificate their belief.

That's my story and... LOL you know the rest

@johncbdg & @Earl.Of.Trumps, it’s pretty clear that I do not try to get threads shut down unless there is a legitimate reason (spam, duplicate thread, blatant rules being broken etc.).

Unless by ‘shut down’ you mean that I critically question the lacking ‘evidence’ presented?

This thread is a testament to that: A bit of a train wreck, nothing compelling presented etc.  But not really breaking any rules, so it won’t get locked unless John wants it to, at this stage.

I’m giving you and others the opportunity to present what you consider the best evidence of this stuff. Don’t blame me if it doesn’t meet my level of scrutiny. (And let’s also be aware, if you weren’t; I used to be much more of a believer. But it’s the believers often severely lacking arguments which have caused me to have this stance).

I don’t want to bicker about this guys. I’m just asking for evidence and giving my opinion on what’s presented.
