That is very pathetic to use as evidence.

It would be, in the part where I refer to his physical defects, if it was used against someone who doesn't engage in the same practice.

Also, those who don't want their faults pointed out shouldn't flaunt them in public.

Trump is very rude towards anyone who doesn't kiss his behind, throws outrageous insults around, even mocks the disabled and you expect me not to notice he's obese, mostly bald and sticks his lower lip out, just like Mussolini did, just like petulant children do, when they want to appear important, mean and in charge.

Both Trump and Mussolini are gesticulating wildly, but while Mussolini was Italian, what's Trump's excuse for his own sign language he's performing? It's natural to move your arms a little during a speech, it's ridiculous to give your audience gang signs. (I'm referring to the '*******' his making with his fingers, I understand it's now white power sign. How appropriate. Let me salute back with much more universal middle fingers. Both of them.)

That's the person some voted for because he 'tells it like it is'. Well, now I tell you like it is.

Your fail-führer displays no traces of responsibility, common sense, sane human emotions, decency, knowledge in any field, ability to learn or patriotism. It can be denied by his sect, but it cannot possibly be hidden in front of the objective observers. And there's no tool to make anyone outside the sect unsee the reality.

I absolutely do.

But I'm not a president of anything. And I would never vote for a person whose issues are so obvious the only great thing he can deliver are great problems.

Back on topic, it's still an interesting question - who wrote the letter and what they were trying to save? Party, country or their own miscalculating ass?

although there is an interesting twist to this that may have been unforeseen by the clever clogs propagandists..?

Potential Republican voters who have doubts about Trump could now be soothed into thinking that it's ok
to vote Republican in the Mid Term elections because there are '''insiders'''' in the Administration looking out for what THEY want and addressing their concerns......

Unseen? This 'resistance' is the same affirmation used as a counter to Hillary's asking "Do you want to give this man the nuclear launch codes?"

We were told back then there many checks and balances. Now we're merely assured that this is still the case.

This news pre-dates the election.

Sorry, I was just laughing there at the idea of the Donald being familiar with gang signs. You can just see him hangin' with his homies, can't you.

That's the bizarre beauty of the whole Trump movement disaster.

Frothing against China, while peddling cheap MAGA crap made in China, frothing against gangs, while inventing own gang sign, frothing against Globalists, code word for Jews, while kissing Bibi's butt, frothing against 'unfairness' while attempting to install protectionism and nepotism... every single thing Trump claims to be against is precisely what he does.

The white power gang sign is especially entertaining, because apparently people in the US who would want to be racially superior are down to imitating stereotypical black practice.

And it's not deniable anymore:

https://www.vox.com/2018/9/5/17821946/white-power-hand-signal-brett-kavanaugh-confirmation-hearing-zina-bash-4chan

(The link contains an explanation why 'okay' sign is not accepted by Trump supporters as WP sign, but the photos are telling precisely the opposite. Which is hilarious.)

I do agree it's extremely hilarious. What's extremely hilarious is not that Trump and his clique of fanatical lackeys gives white power gang signs, but that presumably professional journalists should waste so much time, when there's so much they could be talking about such as the insane warmongering of the neocons that surround the President, on such nonsense. Fortunately the journalists from Vox in that story seem reasonably rational, in that particular instance at least.

Anyway, how many white power gangs are there? Aren't gangs a traditional phenomenon among the Persons of Color community?

actually that article does a good job of pointing out the lunacy of the liberal left-leaning media.

Thanks for that Helen of Annoy. It's good to see such a balanced, rational discourse on President Donald Trump, with not a HINT of Trump Derangement Syndrome ANYWHERE :D

You're certainly welcome. I'll gladly provide more, in my spare time, of course.

By the way, Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. Only it most obviously doesn't mean there are horrible people jealous of Trump's imaginary competence in MAGAing, it consists of Trump supporters desperately denying objective reality. While it's completely explainable from psychiatric perspective, it is not acceptable behaviour for any society that doesn't plan destroying itself.

Do I? That'd be pretty difficult.

Remember POTUS election received world-wide coverage.

Obviously, you're wasting your time in the wrong parts of the Internet.

Here's the top definition per Urban Dictionary

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Trump Derangement Syndrome

Speaking of prevalence, sometimes it may appear, in certain places, that sane people are minority, but that's only because sane people tend to be less loud and noticeable. It's always bad taste to point out someone's inadequate, but in the case of freaking POTUS every sane and responsible human being must make an exception.

Therefore, let me remind readers that Trump is so dysfunctional that denying it only makes people wonder what is the denier's problem.

That man keeps delivering word salads. Narcissist and thinly veiled supremacist salads, still they're word salads. I also dare say his English is worse than mine. And the 'best people' he brought are making plea deals at such rate soon there won't be anyone left who was touched with Trump's short little fingers that hasn't admitted their guilt on at least two accounts.

A letter wasn't enough, of course, maybe it bought few more donor days, but these are days, not years anymore. <- This too will be denied, naturally, but won't go away, because reality does not go away just because Trump or his supporters pout and deny it.

Which bring us back to obvious, objective answer to the question who's deranged here - it's those with short fingers stuck in their ears, screaming childishly about being treated unfairly in their privileged lives, while the rest of the sane word doesn't even know whether to laugh at them or cry for someone sane will have to fix everything these brats have broken.

Not to mention someone who paints themselves orange probably has a place in show-business, as a performer, but I seriously question the judgement of those who were under impression he's fit to lead anything but maybe a carnival procession.

From Wikipedia...

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a neologism used by its adherents to describe a reaction to United States President Donald Trump by liberals, progressives, and anti-Trump conservatives, who are said to respond to Trump's statements and political actions irrationally and with little regard to Trump's actual position or action taken.

I thank you :)

You were given the source that explains the same neologism is defined differently by the sane people.

Also, everything connected to Trump suffers from terminal lack of logic, so does that TDS supposedly funny term. Because even a foreigner may notice it sounds like Trump supporters actually do recognize Trump is deranged and that Trump's derangement is contagious. And it is, only it doesn't transfer via physical contact (we have porn stars that remained uninfected after sexual - albeit short - contact with Trump to prove it). It seems to affect only people who share similar pre-existing conditions.

Back on topic, one big donor swallowed the letter, one big donor publicly announced he won't support Trump or Republican party anymore.

I can't be bothered to check out the details, but it seems Trump is starting to cost 'his' party real money besides reputation.

ROFL... the "sane" people ? The Urban Dictionary ? (and only the top article defined it the way you preferred... the other articles defined it the 'correct' way).

Yeah... OK.. right :)

Yes, the sane people. Those who don't paint themselves orange or flash hand signs to give 'secret' signals to other members of the insecurity club.

But enough about the childish manifestations of shallow yet deeply troubled minds.

What about the topic of the thread?

It becomes obvious that the letter was an attempt at damage control. Apparently, it dawns on the Republicans too that all Trump does is damage.

So it's about time to distance from him, though I'm not sure it's really possible at this point.

Do you have any on topic comments?

That's not on topic. So it's a 'no'.

You see, that is the actual TDS in all its glory - you can't even say 'yes' or 'no' correctly, you simply have to claim the opposite of the actual truth. It doesn't work for Trump, so it won't work for you, but there must be a pony in all that crap, huh? Not really, since it's a mountain of elephant ****.

All right, then, nothing on topic? No talking points were issued by Trump's Think Tank? And you won't even try with your own opinion? You do have one, don't you?

I'll drop by tomorrow, if not for the topic, then for the next opportunity to point out how ridiculous is every single thing in Trumpian circus.

Giving a government, ANY GOVERNMENT, more control is stupid and counterproductive.

I rather like the sound of a narcissistic salad. it looks at itself in the mirror and thinks "aren't my artistically arranged lettuce leaves just so cute".

and that's the exact definition of fanaticism, or at the very least obsessive compulsive behavior, if we want to psychoanalyze people at a distance.
