+OverSword Posted September 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Hi Saru, I'm not sure if this is affecting everyone but at least for Acute and I longer updates are running off the edge of the page.

Saru Posted September 7, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2018 This was fixed at the time - I'm not seeing any status updates running over the side of the widget right now. Can you post a screenshot ?

Saru Posted September 7, 2018 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2018 The reason it's doing it is because of the URL you've posted - there are no spaces to break it up on to multiple lines. I did implement a fix, but it only appears to be working on some browsers. (Chrome works fine) I've tried some other recommended CSS tweaks but none of those seem to work either. I've removed your update with the link and it's fixed for now, but I'll need to find some sort of permanent cross-browser solution. 2
acute Posted September 7, 2018 #8 Share Posted September 7, 2018 My phone uses Chrome, and my laptop uses IE11. Why has it just started happening, I wonder.

This issue will have existed since the status widget plugin was installed a few months back. It only manifests as an issue if someone posts a long string (such as a URL) that is too long for the container.
